Previews made it out to be a romantic comedy, but it's a tragedy instead. It's still incredibly cliche, complete with many "words of wisdom" for the woman going through a mid-life crisis.

For a horror movie, it was actually... pretty good? However, it wasn't good enough to demand numerous sequels.

I certainly wasn't expecting that. It's a horror-thriller with somewhat of an actual plot and an introspective view of the power of life.

Very little plot, very little character development, but plenty of zombies. When you get right down to it, that's all that matters. The shopping mall setting was pure genius.

Haha, awesome! Plenty of suspense and thrills are in this well-made movie. The dream sequences still hold up today in terms of special effects.

This movie actually isn't half bad. It provides some genuine thrills, even if the story and scary moments have been recycled from numerous previous movies. It still falls into the old trap of having too many jump scares.

Wow, this movie was way better than I thought it was going to be. It gradually builds suspense, and has very few cheap scares. The atmosphere of the whole film is fantastic. Legitimately disturbing.

Still a boring movie the second time around. I appreciate Hitchcock as a director, but I am not excited by any of the scripts/plots in his movies, except perhaps in Psycho.

What a huge disappointment. A lot of people say this is one of the best horror movies ever made. Literally nothing exciting happens for the whole movie except maybe in the last 5 minutes, and those minutes aren't worth it to watch the whole movie.

I was pleased with this adaptation of the book of the same name, even if the shaky cam effect was insanely over-used. People might be disappointed by the lack of explanations in this movie, but at least there will be other movies to clear the confusion.

A lot of people really, really love this movie. It was just as psychologically twisted as people said it was, but not because you witness a lot of gore (you don't). I found myself thinking a lot about the effects of violence in movies and the media after this one, and I suppose it deserves a good rating just for that.
