Broken dreams, loneliness and bleak future. Electra Glide in Blue mirrors the feelings of a whole nation torn by racial and social differences during the last few years of Vietnam war and demise of the hippie movement. Robert Blake makes a wonderful performance as an ideological man destined to fulfill his dreams despite prejudice among those who have lost their faith in decent future. Chasing the dream takes a toll on his moral code and the man himself. Director Guercio is also solid in his first and sadly only motion picture. With cinematographer Conrad Hall the duo was able to create something special here. Jyki's rating:

This disturbing documentary will make you sick in the stomach and leaves you stunned at how fucked up the justice system can at times be. Much like the more recent documentary Fog of war, Thin blue line is appealing because of its emotional source material and the fact that Errol Morris is just such a great storyteller. Archive material, interviews and scene recreations are in perfect harmony because of the top notch editing job. Jyki's rating:

For the sword & sorcery-genre the success of Schwarzenegger's Conan the Barbarian did what the Road Warrior had done to the Post apocalyptic-genre the year before. It greated a huge demand for new sword-wielding heroes fighting against evil and black magic. Deathstalker is one of the better films to come out of this period. What it lacks in plot it quickly makes up with its never-ending stream of blood, violence and boobs, lots of boobs. Jyki's rating:

You could say that Tim Kincaid was something of a late 80's Ed Wood and Robot Holocaust his Plan 9 from outer space. But then again this film isn't nearly as entertaining as Ed wood's cult classic. It still might appeal to the fans of trash cinema for its awful storyline and incredibly bad acting. Jyki's rating:

An excellent reminder that Lamberto Bava can make exceptionally great action films as well as he does horror and on a shoestring budget. Jyki's rating:

This movie may be kind of slow during the middle section of the film but when Chan unleashes his fury, the film turns into pure stunt-filled awesomeness. Jyki's rating:

Gazillion times better than Batman & Robin. Jyki's rating:
