"Most importantly, have fun."

Directed by: Gus Van Sant
Starring: Alex Frost, Eric Deulen, John Robinson
Rating: 8/10

I don't know what to say. It's a powerful experience. It just portrays a normal day at school. How everything is as it supposed to be. Walking from one place to another. Having lunch. Etc. It's so simplistic, yet effective and brutal at the same time. It doesn't go deep into any kind of grand motive or reason, just hints at those small things that may cause the trigger to snap eventually.

Norwegian mess. Just a series of short stories that is poorly intertwined. There is nothing here. All these different stories, and it says absolutely nothing. It's too short, and none of the stories gets any chance to evolve.

Directed by: Roger Kumble
Starring: Sarah Michelle Geller, Ryan Phillipe, Reese Witherspoon

It starts off freshly, and slick. Sarah Michelle Geller is pleasantly bitchy and sexy. Then the film takes it premise down the road of cliches, and ends rather disappointing.

"You're a corpse. Your opinion doesn't count anymore."

Directed by: Agnieszka Wojtowicz-Vosloo
Starring: Christina Ricci, Liam Neeson, Justin Long
Rating: 8/10

Christina Ricci is for the most part of the film naked, which is huge plus. Liam Neeson manages to pull of a creepy role in a creepy film with a creepy premise. It does manage to keep me guessing, and when it ended I still wasn't sure. Justin Long is painfully annoying, but I did like this film a lot.

"Soon you'll know us all too well, with my apologies."

Directed by: David Fincher
Starring: Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara, Stellan Skarsgård, Christopher Plummer
Rating: 9/10

I liked the Swedish version of this story realy good, but I like this one even better. It's a story that is perfect for David Fincher, and he shows off yet again that is capable to create perfect thrillers. This is darker, grittier, more brutal and realistisc then the Swedish version. His direction is flawless, he is a master in bulding suspense and keeping it there for the whole film. Even though I knew how the story was going to end, he still managed to make it incredibly exciting.

Rooney Mara is an even better Lisbeth Salander then Noomi Rapace. While they both are exceptionally good, Mara manages to bring in an innocence and vulnerability to the character, which Rapace didn't. And that makes Mara's Salander even more interessting.

And it got an awesome score, and the opening credits is one of the coolest thing I've ever seen. This is one of the best films of the year, and it shows that remakes ain't necessarily a bad thing if you let a competent director handle it.

One or two decent kills, but this is one of the worst entries into this franchise. Trying to offer Michael Myers a reason for doing his killings is a bad idea, as he is on his best when he is just a killer with no reason. Hey, What about;
"Det er ikke min skyld. Kjells skyld! Skulle absolutt ha med seg det gamle drittet!!" - I thought that was hilarious. And actually I think the third one is the best :O

Hehe, it is indeed some hilarious quotes in it, but I still think it come up short. Looking forward to next 11 of them. :P

50 movies on 1 month? Great list, I agree with Piranha quote, a lot of boobs, what more can we need?

Being a fan of Bob Dylan may not necessarily help on I'm Not There. I dig Dylan's music & also felt like it was too much of a mess to follow. It jumps around so much I couldn't connect with any of the characters & I gave up about 45 minutes into it.

Sad to see you couldn't get into E.T. I've loved it since I first saw it in theatres the year it came out.

Been a while since I looked at this. Glad you loved Buried as much as I did! Some of these you didn't like I'll keep avoiding.

You must have caught a midnight showing of X-Men: First Class. Glad to hear positive things on that one as I'm hoping to catch it soon!

great effort! I like how you put comments on every movie and not just plain title and picture. I didn't watch many of those, but looking forward to..100% agree on black swan and the prestige.
When it comes to Toy Story, I've gotta say don't let the child in yourself die! lol

You have watched many bad films

Good to see some love for K-Pax! It's definitely underrated, & has long been a favorite of mine. Also glad to see you were well entertained by Halloween III, which is unfairly hated by those who whine about it having nothing to do with the rest of the series.

Glad to see you liked Fincher's adaptation so well. I'll be seeing it soon!

Nice to see you enjoyed Diabolique! And your thoughts on Dragon Tattoo have encouraged me to check it out, while your thoughts on Sherlock Holmes 2 have encouraged me to continue ignoring it. ;)

I made one last movie list (for now) for 2011 you can check out when you get a chance. Happy new year!

Sorry you didn't like the original Godzilla film. I guess you never got into the anti-nuclear war message that the film had. The character development in that movie is some of the best character development that I seen in most Asian films at it's time.
