1. Heat (1995)
The most intense three hour movie that I've ever seen. Movie felt like it's only half hout long. Heat is full of brilliant ways to tell the story just with the color blue.

2. Inception (2010)
I've never been Chris Nolan fan outside of his Batman movies. Inception is his best movie to date without the caped crusader. Altho in the end I got confused that who was the dreamer in which "level" and who was the "subject" - I really enjoyed How Nolan did the whole thing.

3. Full Contact (1992)
Shallow but cool and satisfying as hell. Stylish, cool and violent Hong Kong actioner. Much better than any by-the-number Hollywood action movie.

4. A Better Tomorrow (1986)
Outstanding blood is thicker than water -type of story. Just amazing and I've seen this ten times already.

5. The Package (1989)
Always enjoyable political thriller from the 80's. Directed by Andrew Davis who made the best Chuck Norris movie and the second best Steven Seagal movie.

6. Return of the Street Fighter (1974)
Nowhere near as good as the classic first part but still some nasty action scenes. I liked.

7. Sonatine (1993)
Kitano's take on Yakuza life is absurd, funny and raw. The ending really makes you think what you just saw. Amazing.

Standard nice action drama from Ringo Lam.

9. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990)
One of my favorite movies back in the day. I like how each Turtle have their own unique personality and look. Shredder is badass in this one. I love watching this film.

It's a shame that people doesn't hail this movie that much. Visual look is STUNNING.

11. The Adventures of Ford Fairlane (1990)
"Booty time, Booty Time...Across the U.S.A.!"

Classic "bad" movie with plenty of weird scenes and stupid dialogue.

People who added this item 546  Average listal rating (369 ratings) 6.7  IMDB Rating 7.3
12. Crimson Tide (1995)
This movie has some intense dialogue scenes and Tony Scott really captures excitiment only with two dots on a radar screen.
Tuomas 's rating:

People who added this item 75  Average listal rating (57 ratings) 5.6  IMDB Rating 6.9
13. Christmas Story (2007)
Great childrens movie with sweet message. But this is still heavily flawed film that tries to mix Finnish mythology with Coca Cola Santa. Not for cynic or nihilistic persons. I enjoyed this but just because I like christmas.

14. Super Fly (1972)
The music score by Curtis Mayfield is SICK. One of the best soundtracks of all time. Ron O'Neal is great as cocaine dealer Priest trying to quit the dealings but it's not easy task. For a movie where nothing happens this is a good movie. It's gritty and realistic portait of a pusherman.

15. Pieces (1982)
Rewatched this masterpiece for just reminding me why I love B-movies. Pieces is a guaranteed fun for b-movie lovers. Classic for what it is.

16. The Matrix Revolutions (2003)
Background noize for my cleaning day. Actually I like the first half hour but after that the movie doesn't impress. Ending is quite biblical.

19. The Matrix (1999)
It was good to rewatch this because this movie was a monster back in the day. Everything was so cool and unseen before. Similar jaw-dropper like Jurassic Park.

20. Silver Bullet (1985)
Should've been a mini-serie or something more large-scaled. Everything is very subpar and weak - even the werewolf looks like a wet dog.
Tuomas 's rating:

People who added this item 67  Average listal rating (34 ratings) 6.6  IMDB Rating 6.9
21. Deep Cover (1992)
Interesting visual style and themes but overall I didn't enjoy this movie that much. Gets dull at points.

22. Jurassic Park (1993)
Movie number #300 for this year. God damn.

Jurassic Park! Gotta love those crazy Dinos. I remember watching this back in the day ‘93 or ‘94 and I was stunned. Everything looked so real and amazing. Since my last watch (10 years plus) I still remembered every key scene and scary part of the movie. This movie is part of my childhood and I’m always gonna love this movie. I'm still mad that Spielberg didn't show ANY violence in this movie.

24. The House of Branching Love (2009)
Not rating because of distractions (you can guess the reason from below). The subplot was stupid.

25. Hot Tub Time Machine (2010)
This was our birthday movie pick and it delivered the goods. There was lot of laughing and not because of alcohol.

27. Intruder (1989)
What I loved about this film was the murder scenes. They were funny and entertaining. BUT the movie wasn't scary, Scott Spiegel really overdirected this and the killer is easy to guess.
Tuomas 's rating:

People who added this item 29  Average listal rating (17 ratings) 5  IMDB Rating 3.6
28. Hercules (1983)
Hercules is a guaranteed laughing marathon. There's so much stupid shit going on that you just have to laugh. Sybil Danning steals every scene she is but not because of her acting skills.
Tuomas 's rating:

People who added this item 20  Average listal rating (11 ratings) 4.6  IMDB Rating 4.4
29. Sinbad of the Seven Seas (1989)
Craptastic adventures of Sinbad. I guess Castellari was just tired because this is a very sloppy movie. Also the voice over is the stupidest idea of the movie. It's not that the movie isn't easy to follow without it. It took something like 1h30 minutes from mother to read the bedtime story to the little girl. I wish my parents had so much attension to me when I was growing up.

People who added this item 255  Average listal rating (125 ratings) 7.4  IMDB Rating 6.6
30. Inglorious Bastards (1978)
This movie seems to get better and better. The anti-heroes are entertaining to watch and I rooted for them althou they were murderers, racist assholes and sleazy thieves.
Tuomas 's rating:

People who added this item 145  Average listal rating (83 ratings) 6.2  IMDB Rating 5.9
31. The Funhouse (1981)
I loved this movie until the killings started. The set-up for the story is chillin' and the introduction to the killer is great but after that the script doesn't take full advantage of the premise.
Tuomas 's rating:

People who added this item 653  Average listal rating (459 ratings) 7  IMDB Rating 7.3
32. The Dead Zone (1983)
The first part is brilliant drama about lost love and rehabilitation. The second part of the movie is amazing serial killer movie and the finale is haunting political assassination tale.

People who added this item 1413  Average listal rating (920 ratings) 6.6  IMDB Rating 6.7
33. Machete (2010)
Ugly cgi-blood, actors are mostly annoying and the story is just boring mess. Some funny oneliners, Steven Seagal is great but that's it.

34. Robin Hood (2010)
Director's cut.

Ridley Scott's visually stunning Robin Hood isn't as naive as the other crappy ones with Errol Flynn or Kevin Costner. Still movie has some laughable scenes and weak dialogue.

35. Night of the Comet (1984)
Two girls fighting with heavy weaponry against zombies in the end-of-the-world settings. Sounds good but the movie isn't all that. Take a look but I'm warning you: this is PG-13 movie!

37. Wild Grass (2009)
Yeah, Alain Resnais is still alive! Matter of fact his Private Fears in Public Places (2006) movie was amazing. He still outshines most of the European filmmakers working today. Too bad that his latest movie Wild Grass isn't masterpiece but quite tired romantic meta-play. Movie is beautiful to look at.

40. Dobermann (1997)
In the 90's this film was HUGE event but nobody hardly even remembers this anymore! Still fun to watch - I love how the cops are as ruthless as the criminals they're after. There are no good people in this movie.

44. Synecdoche, New York (2008)
This just might be most genius movie that I never understood. The main character re-creates life around him (for a play) but what he doesn't understand is that life isn't theater, it's experiences and emotions. When you're dying and you you go through your life - then it all might make sense. Mabeye when we're all dead we could make a play out of life. But the meaning of life ? Who knows. I liked this because it made me think but I just failed to see the point. We all die - so what ? What you make from your life is the key.

Like life itself this movie is brutal, unfair and ugly. As older this movie gets it seems to be more and more topical. The problems and the issues that this movie handles will never vanish in this world.

yes, heat is fantastic, mostly thanks to to amazing performances and interesting characters of Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro
