It seemed up my alley. You know french people and revolutions and the possibility of cake. Only it was as if there wasn't a revolution. And it was dreadfully boring. But at least it was pretty?

It seemed up my alley. Sci-fi and medieval french dudes. Only it sucked. I wouldn't have been upset had it not been for the possible potential of this being amazing (MEDIEVAL FRENCH DUDES AND TIME MACHINES).
That and I really liked the book. chibiyusa's rating:
I like the 1968 version better. It was just better done in general, not this lifeless piece o crap. It wasn't funny and each song I had to go through wincing in pain.
chibiyusa's rating:
Actually for all I know this might have a really amazing ending that makes up for the movie. Too bad I'll never know since I fell asleep out of boredom. I'll stick to the Kurosawa version thank ya very much.
chibiyusa's rating:
Just no. NO. Stop with the destroying of my childhood books. It's not funny.
chibiyusa's rating:
I really wanted to be like everyone else and like this film. It had alot of things going for it but I suppose it just wasn't my thing. Johnny Depp was cool though.
chibiyusa's rating:
I don't remember actually why I didn't like it. (I must have suppressed the bad memories about random sex scenes) But I'm not about to rewatch it to find out.
chibiyusa's rating:
I didn't like the second but I honestly didn't think it could get worse.
chibiyusa's rating:
I love me some Miyazaki Ghibli films but I'm sorry Porco Rosso. You just didn't do it for me. I don't think I was old enough to appreciate it.
chibiyusa's rating:
The concept looked awesome and the potential was high. But for some strange reason it just didn't click with me.
chibiyusa's rating:
I too wanted to be part of the hip unconventional movie lover group. But I felt like this movie just shoots itself in the foot and I didn't have enough testosterone understand.
chibiyusa's rating:
I too wanted to be part of the hip unconventional movie lover group. Too bad I get bored easily. I did enjoy Paul Dano crying like a girl though.
chibiyusa's rating:
Will Smith and the dog were alright in the film but they weren't enough to save me from the boredom and possible plot holes.
chibiyusa's rating:
I actually couldn't finish watching and I suppose I wasn't in the right mind set but until then it stays on this list.
I found it to be very boring and I didn't have the patience nor the curiosity to sit through the end and find out what the hell is going on. CommentsLogin or Signup to post a comment |

i did like porco rosso, though!
But have to agree with Lemona, Porco was ok but it may be an age thing. However do not add Big Fish as Kryptic Centurion suggested, that's a decent movie! Hmmm must write a review!
however, i agree with you wholeheartedly on charlie and the chocolate factory.
