I, too, dig the characters played by Alan Rickman (Snape!), Michael Emerson (Ben!), and Karl Urban. Thinking out loud, two more "bad guy" faves for me... James Callis as Gaius Baltar on BSG and Alan Tudyk as Alpha on DOLLHOUSE. Cool list!!

I agree about Lucian, he has noble intentions. And I absolutely love Loki, he's so layered, tortured, and real. Max might not be a whole lot like the comic book version, but yeah, he is pretty funny. And Kirill, he doesn't enjoy what he does for a living, but he's just so good at it.



Would Prince Nuada from Hellboy II fit in this list? He's another "villain" I can't help but feel loads of sympathy for.

Ozymandias from Watchmen, to a certain extent.

Ooh! Magneto from X-Men! Also Mystique. Even Sebastian Shaw from First Class.

And Kroenen from the first Hellboy movie. He is just so damn cool.

Same with Deacon Frost from Blade.

She was working for the wrong team when we first meet her. She was redeemed like many of the bad guys I love so much, but in the beginning she was definately a villain in my book.

I mean, Ben Linus, Loki, Lucian and Sylar weren't always villains but when they were bad it was soooo good.

Sylar is by far the greatest villain ever. He is sexier than hell and would beat the rest of their asses.
