It's tied to the Vietnam War, yes, but it's not about American soldiers fighting in Vietnam, if that's what you mean?

you should really really see Winter Soldier. soldiers recalling eye witnessed and perpetrated war atrocities. it is a documentary but, essential.

The Big Lebowski? heh.

Winter Soldier eh? Haven't heard of that one. I'll definitely check it out. It's from the early 70s, so I'll likely dig it. I will probably add documentaries and TV movies/shows to this list at some point. No reason not to.

And I had thought about adding Big Lebowski, because it's great, but it's just too much of a stretch, I think. Walter is a crazy Vietnam War vet, yes, but he isn't the protagonist, and it doesn't play too big a part in the overall story. Still...it IS a great movie...

Might want to take out 'The Killing Fields' - that is based on the Khmer Rouge regime in Cambodia.

The Killing Fields has been removed. It may all be related to the war in Vietnam, but I guess it was too much of a stretch. Thanks.
