Video Game Movies
Absolutely terrible but I remember having high hopes for this since I was a big SF2 fan (and young, with little experience of video game adaptations) at the time.

And of course the gory answer to Street Fighter had to follow up with a movie of it's own too.
With all the complaints about the infamous director Uwe Böll I was actually slightly pleasantly suprised by this given the super-low expectations that game-based movies have given me. Bloodrayne isn't a shining jewel of the genre but it doesn't really drop below the general quality present either.

This fairly interesting but still ridiculously written video game franchise managed to actually get a fairly enjoyable first movie. Milla Jovovich leads the pack in a reasonably faithful adaptation of the scifi-horror games.

The follow-up was more like the usual quality of video game based movies. It has a laughable plot that seems heavily inspired by some other recent zombie horror movies.

Cool to watch if you're impressed by well-done computer animations. The plots rather sketchy but it may or may not contain a philosophical message. Something that you'll be hard pressed to find in most of the stuff that's on the list.
slux's rating:
One of the better ones on this list, actually. A fairly solid replace Indy with a sexy woman action flick. Not a milestone in movie history but a good one to watch if you are looking for a video-game based movie to watch for some reason.
