Cool list and a few stunning stand outs but vanity Fair messed up too many by trying too hard. They look to fake and processed to be Pin ups and too many of the girls just don't have that kind of natural wholesomeness which is the second requirement for the art of pin up. I've seen grainy phone photos that are hotter. You did good work though compiling. cheers.
nat- you dont need to be curvy to be a pinup. and erm, neither are a lot of the other girls (ie Isla, Frieda, Amanda, Kristen Bell, etc etc etc) but you didn't care.
and I agree, WAAAY too airbrushed... but then again, the pinup paintings were "airbrushed" too... the artists dramatically resized their waists, hips and bust size! disgusting!
and mevious, stop pretending you pine for the old days when you weren't even born then. and FYI... these are not the "old days". these are modern day, in case you somehow missed that.
