6. I Am Legend - Richard Matheson

Not your typical vampire literature, what I more or less like to call Vampire Literature by Association. The reason being, although they have a vampire nature they aren't made in the typical vampire fashion. There isn't any blood drinking ritual and the main character isn't a vampire.

Typical Dracula inspired novel told from the perspective of Dracula's servent giving it an interesting take on the tale.

Young Adult vampire lit about an ordinary girl who falls in love with a vampire (as ya do).

11. Sunshine - Robin McKinley

A Vampire/fantasy novel set in a modern but an alternate time.
Although there are such creatures as magic handlers, demons, werewolves and pixies the story centres around the main character, Sunshine, and vampires.

*Not a paranormal romance although it does have some sexual tension but luckily the vampire is, well, vampiric.
