Cast: Christian Bale, Paul Schneider, Xinyi Zhang ... Based on the novel 13 Flowers of Nanjing by Geling Yan Why do I want to see it: I ran across the trailer couple of days ago, and i was stuned. We have Yimou Zhang directing the movie about Nanking during the World War II, with Christian Bale in the lead role. How can this possibly go wrong? It just can't. Män som hatar kvinnor by Niels Arden Oplev Why do I want to see it: I've never actually read the novel, and I'm not usualy fan of hollywood remakes, but this one is put in the hands of David Fincher, so I'll give it a go. Cast: Robert Downey Jr, Jude Law, Rachel McAdams, Jared Harris ... Adaptation of the famous stories by Arthur Conan Doyle/Sequel to the 2009. Sherlock Holmes by Guy Ritchie Why do I want to see it: I've allways loved A.C. Doyle's stories about the great detective, and the 2009. film was the best movie adaptation I've seen so far. I liked the idea of Robert Downey Jr. as Sherlock and I'm sure that Ritchie won't dissapoint me. Also, in this one we'll see more of Sherlock's arch enemy: Professor Moriarty. Cast: Noomi Rapace, Jude Law, Ben Kingsley ... Spin-off of Bram Stoker's novel Why do I want to see it: I'm very interested in David Slade. (I think he is exeptional director) Also, everyone who knows me, knows i can never turn my back to story based on Dracula. Trailer: Not yet relesed

Sequel to The Dark Knight by Christopher Nolan Why do I want to see it: I've seen the first two movies, and i fell in love. No matter what people say, i have a huge ammount of respect for Christopher Nolan, and I find his directing simply brilliant. Cast is brilliant and well chosen. (as allways). Cast: John Cusack, Alice Eve, Luke Evans, Brendan Gleeson ... A fictionalized account of the last days of Edgar Allan Poe's life. Why do I want to see it: I've allways been a huge fan of Edgar Allan Poe and his work. I like the idea and i think that James McTeigue could do a wonderful job. I'm just a little bit dissapointed about the cast. If it was up to me, Alan Rickman would get the part of Edgar Allan Poe. But I'm sure John will do just fine. Trailer:  Trailer for The Raven

Based on the book by John Ronald Reuel Tolkien Why do I want to see it: I've allways been a fan of fantasy. (mostly in books) Tolkien was one of my favourite authors, along with Roger Zelazny and I was waiting for this one for a really long time. Now I'm just waiting for the Chronicles of Amber. Based on the novel by Seth Grahame-Smith Why do I want to see it: A long time ago, I heard that Tim Burton is producing Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. I was very intersted in it. C'mon, Tim Burton doing Seth Grahame-Smith's script twice in a year. It's bloody brilliant. Knowledge that Timur Bekmambetov is directing it just strengthened my decision to watch it. If we put aside Marc Foster, who is quite interesting, we still have Brad Pitt starting in zombie apocalypse movie. I just think it's ought to be interesting. Cast: Casey Affleck, Bradley Cooper, Dominic Purcell, Camilla Belle, Benjamin Walker, Rufus Sewell ... Loosely based on John Milton's epic poem Why do I want to see it: Alex Proyas is very interesting sci-fi director and this time he took in his hands the epic Lucifer and Michael duel. I love that story. I'm a bit sceptic about the cast though. Trailer: Not yet relesed

Cast: Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Eva Green, Helena Bonham Carter, Christopher Lee ... Based on the cult TV series Why do I want to see it: It's quite simple. It's a vampire story directed by Tim Burton (one of my favorite directirs), writen by Seth Grahame-Smith (who i highly respect) and acted by bunch of actors that I highly respect. Why do I want to see it: I've seen all of the bonds so far and i rather like Daniel Craig as 007. It's directed by Sam Mendes, one of my favorite directors, and contains marvelous cast. Cast: Sean Bean, Malcolm McDowell, Kit Harington ... Based on PS1 video game/sequel to the 2006. movie Why do I want to see it: I think the first part is one of the most underrated movies ever. Cast: SMilla Jovovich, Sienna Guillory, Michelle Rodriguez ... Based on PS1 video game/sequel to the 2010. movie Why do I want to see it: There is nothing great or spectacular about this franchise. Most of you probably don't even like it. But every now and then i find that one movie or franchise that I tend to love despite the opinion of other people. Not hearing good things so far on Sherlock 2 & didn't care for the first one much, so that one wouldn't be on my list. Some of these I'll have to look into...
