This show seemed like one of the coolest things I had ever seen. Max Headroom is a show that's difficult to explain in a few words. This show was cancelled after only a few episodes, but I watched the repeats whenever they would come on.
This show came out when I was very young, and I loved it! This is a four year old's dream. The world is a desolate war zone covered in robots. Humans live underground and battle robots in high tech power suits. I went crazy for this show as a kid! It may seem dated now, but at the time, it was the most visually stunning thing I had ever seen. And the show itself was interesting.
Earth 2 was a show about a group of people who travel by space to an earth like planet light years away from their original homes. This was a really good show, and I was pretty angry when I learned the show was cancelled.
Strange Luck was another 90's show on Fox that wasn't given a fair chance. It was an unusual show about a photographer that continually got into strange situations. I was really into this show, but it didn't last.
Total Recall 2070 was an interesting show that blended elements from Blade Runner with the Total Recall universe. The two lead characters were cops, one human, and one android. It was cancelled after only one season.
Brisco County Jr. was an unusual western that included science fiction and supernatural elements. Bruce Campbell was great in this show, and it seemed like it had a lot of potential. It only lasted one season, and I was really disappointed when it was cancelled.
Alright, I'll admit that this vampire show wasn't that great. But, eight episodes is not nearly enough time to decide whether a show should be cancelled. The last episode shown had just started to pick up some momentum when there was no more show.
Brimstone was an interesting show about a cop brought back from the dead, on a mission to return escaped souls back to hell. If that doesn't sound like a great premise to a show, there's no such thing. Only thirteen episodes were made, but I think only 8 episodes aired.
Space: Above and Beyond was an excellent show that lasted only one season. It followed a group of marine pilots as they went through training in order to fight a mysterious alien race that threatened earth's colonies. I really loved this show.
Ned and Stacey was a funny show about two people that got married in order to get a promotion, and a really great apartment. Wait a minute? Isn't that really similar to Will and Grace, but years earlier and a lot funnier?
Farscape is one of the best shows ever made. It's a beautiful dramatic story with amazing characters. It was cancelled after four seasons. Afterwards, producers made a movie in order to conclude the story.
Joseph Grey's rating:
This is a list of some of the shows I watched that were cancelled. Some of these shows were truly groundbreaking and interesting. Some were just fun and entertaining. Some good lists have been made about cancelled shows, but I'm going to focus on the shows I liked, and really miss.
