Because living in Denmark doesn't really permit you to watch all TV shows out there and it always depends on, just what Danish TV channels buys for us to get to even watch. Sometimes we have (a) very sad choice(s) to chose from, at least from my perspective, because what I want to watch is not always what we get to watch. So most of the time I seek it out online, watches a few episodes and then orders them on DVD online. Danish TV seems to love wasting money on heaps of TV shows, that's already Doomed from the get go, when airing in its mother country and totally miss the great ones, that seems to gain popularity from the get go. This is mostly aimed for our national channels, because the cable channels are so much better and with those, we get the great shows. But it still isn't good sometimes, since those cable channels seems to just love Crime Shows and loves to cram as many as they can into their schedules. Don't get me wrong, I love crime shows, but we could use a lot more shows in different genres. Where choices of TV shows, on Danish TV are concerned, I am sometimes lamenting the fact, that I live in Denmark.
