Is it so irredeemably treacherous of me that the only two trilogies I've heard of on this list are The Lord of the Rings and The Matrix? K[

Very good list and great movies!

You have included some of the greatest trilogies of all time..
- Dollars Trilogy
- Lord of the Rings Trilogy
- Star Wars Trilogy
- Godfather Trilogy

But how about the other greats?..
- The Evil Dead Trilogy
- The Toy Story Trilogy
- Romero's Original Dead Trilogy
- Back To The Future Trilogy
- Spider Man Trilogy

Either way, you got my vote!

@Pumpkinate

So you've never heard of Star Wars or The Godfather?

A lot of stuff I haven't heard of here; or simply hadn't realized was but one entry into a larger trilogy- like the Red Curtain trilogy. Like it!

Excellent resume.

Impressive list- and with a few I hadn't thought of as trilogies.

How about Wajda's War trilogy? And Ford's Cavalry trilogy.

It's a great pity the 2nd and 3rd of Mizoguchi's Geidonomo theatre trilogy- Story of the Late Chrysanthemums, Woman of Osaka and The Life of an Actor- are lost, since they were apparently excellent
