Oddly your no. 1 movie doesn't take place in a courtroom at all but still a great list though.

It would be more odd if I left the movie out.

Shaun is right, not all of these are held entirely in courtrooms, just one major scene or two (excluding '12 Angry Man' and 'Witness For the Prosecution' of course) However, it also says "Trial" in the title, so '12 Angry Men' fits right in.

Going by your current agenda, 'Sleepers' would suffice. Having said all that, great list :)

Trying to remember the title of a film. Here is what I remember: The protagonists are (two males, late 20's???) (possibly US ??) Western soldiers who are on trial in East Asia (perhaps China/Korea ??). Most of the film is about their trial/court proceedings. (Spoiler Alert:) By the end of the film the two soldiers are unfortunately given the death sentence. All throughout the film we know that they do not deserve a death penalty. If I remember it correctly, they jump of an airplane with their parachutes. unfortunately they land in a 'No fly Zone', caught and imprisoned for spying. Need to know the title of the film. I remember seeing it on TV (in Canada) around 10 years ago. Any help from all the English film buffs will be much appreciated. Cheers!

Suggestion: Beyond a Reasonable Doubt (2009)

High profile lawyer, Mark Hunter has an impeccable record putting criminals behind bars and is a shoo-in for governor in the upcoming election. But when ambitious rookie journalist, C.J. Nicholas begins investigating Hunter for tampering with evidence to secure his convictions, the district attorney's perfect record is up for scrutiny. Commencing a risky game of cat and mouse with Hunter, C.J. frames himself as a murder suspect to catch the corrupt D.A. in the act. Romantically involved with C.J. but unaware of his assignment, assistant D.A. Ella Crystal becomes caught between her boss's political ambitions and C.J.'s dangerous expose. As mounting evidence stacks up against both men, Ella's own life becomes threatened when she discovers incriminating proof that puts the fate of both C.J's innocence and Hunter's reputation in her hands.

Perhaps even the 1956 original could be listed as the 2009 was a remake.
