I recommend Psychoanauts because it's only about 10-15 hours and it's a consistently funny game with imaginative platforming levels. Because you really like Earthbound, you'll probably enjoy my favortie game, Mother 3; the writing is more complex, poignant, and moving.

Noted, I'll move Psychonauts towards the top of the heap, I've always heard good things but been a little uncertain. Mother 3 sits very high on my priority list, I just want to go back and beat Earthbound first (twice now I've gotten well past halfway into it only to have something happen to my save, so it's a frustrating issue for me)
