In my country the most popular site about the movies is filmweb.pl.
People are rating movies on this page and share their impression.

Filmweb is the second largest (after IMDB.com) online database of information related to movies, actors and television series. The site also contains video games base. Filmweb is Polish language site. It was launched on March 18, 1998.

On May 2010 Filmweb launched new algorithm. Registered users, that have rated at least 50 movies, are able to see how much particular movie is supposed to be liked by them and to find taste similar users.

I collected on my list top movies rating by Polish people.

The criterion is not only an average rating, but also the number of votes (popular).
In this list are only films with average rating above 8.0 and a number of votes more than 100,000.
