Top Games of 2009
Assassin's Creed II has the gameplay, the soundtrack and the beautiful scenary. What it ups from the first game is having a good story revolved around the Assassin something Altair lacked. Ezio deserves as much demand for attention to his story as Desmond does.
StingX2's rating:
Why isn't street fighter here? Because this game may be just as insane and ridiculous but it does so without needing over the top supers and fireballs. Devil Jin maybe the only person that is guilty of this with his laser vision that makes Superman jealous.
With solid combo combat, and fun online the terrible scenario campaign cannot hold this game back. StingX2's rating:
GearBox brings back looting to the Console Gamer and does it right unlike Silicon Knights Too Human of last year. A game thats great alone or with four people its like FPS Diablo Crackdown Crack.
StingX2's rating:
Lost and Damned has the amazing story
Gay Tony has the amazing weapons and vechiles Together its like GTA4 was released again and its oh so good. StingX2's rating:
A game I saw in January and knew this would be amazing. Trials is a blend of puzzle and frustration with an amazing level editor and enough challenge to keep most players busy for weeks.
StingX2's rating:
Epic and Chair just sold you Metroid and its just as good. With a unique stat keeping system to compete with your buddies, accompanied by a really well designed underground complex to explore this is a must buy for any 360 owner. And just think two more games are still to come.
StingX2's rating:
Based solely on the multiplayer this game hits here for me. Motivation beyond achievements, and an amazing active community make up for a few maps that are at best sketchy.
StingX2's rating:
This isn't Fallout 3, its all the DLC. Operation Anchorage brings us CoD style Fallout, The Pitt brings us to future like Fight Club, Broken Steel gives us better ending and a better world, Point Lookout tries to scare us, and Mothership Zeta lets us truly believe. 5 DLC that kept Fallout around a whole extra year.
StingX2's rating:
Platformer, Puzzler and a Co-Op blast. Splosion Man solo is pretty fun and whacky, in Co-Op its brilliant. Players work together or fail miserably, its a team work or bust experience that will last you at least 12 hours per mode.
StingX2's rating:
Going back to old style SMT isn't a bad thing when you perfect it. Adding a strategy style aspect to go with the classic SMT battling and a story that feels much more creepier than The World Ends with You.
StingX2's rating:
Honorable mention to perfecting what Diamond and Pearl failed at, fast battling.
