640 6.3 6.8  Note : It was so bad ! I remember when it came out in France. It was a huge success and everybody went to see this movie. Everybody except me. My gut was telling me it was big pile of horses..t. So I didn't go. For months, I had to hear all the comments about this movie ("This is great !" "You have to see it !",...) . After 6 months, a friend convinced me and I finally saw it on video (no DVD back then...). I was completely stoned out of mind which didn't help. After 10 minutes, there was the first real dialog and it sounded so bad , I thought it was fake and I thought someone was comploting against me... Real panic and a complete tragedy ! 313 3.9 3.8  Note : This movie has been directed by the Master of Crap, Uwe Boll !! Where should I start ? First of all, they should have call it "The Lord of the rings : The Remake" because it is a total rip-off and a bad one ! I'm not gonna mention all the similarities because it will take forever but if you see this movie, you'll see what I mean. The biggest surprise is that the cast has a quite few decent actors (Jason Statham, Leelee Sobieski, John Rhys-Davies, Ron Perlman, Claire Forlani, Kristanna Loken, Matthew Lillard, Ray Liotta, Burt Reynolds...). What were they thinking ?!? They have never heard of him before ?!? Why would you jeorpardize your career by working with this guy ?!? I hope, at least, that the money was good... 23 5.4 5.1  Note : What a terrible movie! It is basically a very bad remake of Dirty Dancing (which I'm not really fond of to start with). The dancing sequences are pretty cool but the story is weak, the dialogs are just laughable and the performnances by the whole cast are just very poor. johanlefourbe's rating:

Some of them (like Showgirls, Plan 9, Kentucky Fried Movie) are still enjoyable in some weird/twisted/mascochistic way...

I have not seen many of these, and for that I am grateful -
I did see Pluto Nash and agree that of all Eddie Murphy's stink bombs, it might be the worst -
and 25 years later I still have no words for Howard The Duck except that it's good the whole Star Wars thing worked out for George Lucas.

The undisputed king of films belonging in this ilk would be Tommy Wiseau's "masterpiece": The Room. Every aspect of that picture is poorly done but silly laugh riots ensue whenever I see it. Not all films have to be great art for it to be entertaining, I can appreciate some trash every once in awhile.
Dumb and Dumberer is a bad film period, with no redeeming qualities whatsoever.
I guess you are the kind of person who, when he sees an (actual) piece of turd displayed in a museum, thinks 'Oh my God! This is so avant-garde!!!'.
You should rewatch Street Fighter though, Raul Julia is hilarious in it. There's this extended comedy scene where he's trying to pay a bad guy with ridicilous methods such as using his own Bison Pounds or something. They'll be good cash... WHEN HE KIDNAPS THE QUEEN OF ENGLAND.

Leave it at that... everyone has his/her own tastes and views and one should not get offensive or aggressive... next time someone writes a thing like that either ignore it if you can't handle it or straight-away delete it! There are people still out there who consider The Godfather to be the shittiest film ever made... now that's personal taste right there. So you gotta try to accept and live with that!
You added Street Fighter, a film I consider to be one of the OK, good movies but nowhere near worst but I didn't say anything on that because I respect your opinions and arguing would only show that I'm an ignorant slob!

As for the rest, I would probably need to be paid to watch them...and I truly do not understand the Taxi phenomenon. Why all the sequels when the first film was trash?
