Those are two films I haven't seen. I want to see The Professional more so than Finding Neverland and when I do, I'm sure she will make the list. Eventually, I may update this to top 40 child performances, so I have more room for other great roles. Thanks for the comment and vote :)

I loved Enzo Staiola's performance in Bicycle Thieves! You could add Mickey Rooney's performance in Boys Town, he was 17. He was one of the youngest to be nominated for Best Actor in A Leading Role, twice, though I don't know why he wasn't nominated for his role in this film. Great list!
Just came out (some cities it has yet to) but the young girl in Beasts of the Southern Wild definitely deserves to be on this list.

Natalie Portman in Leon; Jamie Bell in Billy Elliot; Leonardo DiCaprio in What's Eating Gibert Grape; Mara Wilson in Matilda. That's if you've seen them of course, if not then take no notice of the recommendation until you do.

Ana Torrent in The Spirit of the Beehive.Breathtaking performance.She has also starred in Cria Cuervos,which I haven't seen but it would definitely make the list.
Good list. William Eadie in "Ratcatcher" would be a good choice, he was incredible in that movie. Also, Hugh O'Conor as the young Christy Brown in "My Left Foot."
Oh yeah, Ratcatcher. I forgot about that one. Saw it a few years ago on TV. A great underrated film. I haven't seen My Left Foot so I can't add it but I will definitely find room for William Eadie. Thanks for the suggestions.
