Top 10 Movies of 2011
My favorite movies of the year... so far.
Best movie I've seen since District 9. Period.
A perfect mesh of Goonies, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, and Stand by Me. J.J. Abrams, you are a genius!
Being the animal lover that I am, it was hard getting through some of the scenes. Andy Serkis was amazing and should spark the debate again for "should motion capture actors be eligible for an Oscar?" Yes. Absolutely. There are several powerful scenes scattered throughout, but nothing hits harder than a resounding "No!" Caesar is home. I look forward to where they take it in the inevitable sequel.
A wonderful end to an incredible series. There's not much more to say other than straight up awesome.
I wanted to make the world a better place after leaving the theater. That's the impact it had on me. It had a great message behind it, too: Make every second count.
Pretty sure Colin Farrel steals the show and Jennifer Aniston has never looked sexier. I also have to give it up to the trio. They have great chemistry.
Has a nice blend of comedic timing, action, and acting. Asgard is a site to behold.
Very good casting choices for Xavier and Charles. The submarine scene is worth the price of admission.
Pleasantly surprised at how well it was made. The 1940s vibe is a nice change of scenery for the superhero movie genre.
The animation is downright amazing. I loved how they played homage to the ol' spaghetti westerns. Towards the end of the movie, there is a very special nod to a legend.
