Note : It is my favorite Johnny Depp movie. It is so poetic. The acting and direction are great. A really mesmerizing picture.

Note : It is not as famous as Goodfellas, Taxi driver or Ragging Bull but it is almost as good. What a shame that Scorsese and De Niro don't make anymore movies together... This movie is also the only very good movie starring Sharon Stone. Anyway, great directing, great acting and a fascinating story. A must see for all Scorsese fans.

Note : It is the 1st movie directed by Michael Winterbottom . Anyway, it is one of my favorite movies and one of the most disturbing I have ever seen (and I have seen some weird sh*t...). I can't really describe the plot but the main character is played by Amanda Plummer, in her best part ever.

Note : Back in the 90's, Harvey Keitel was one the most interesting actors around. Unfortunately, in the 2000's, he went back to minor movies... Anyway, in this movie, Keitel, as the rest of the cast, really shines. The directing is very good and the story is really nice as well. Definitely worth a look.

Note : I know, 15 years later, the twist at the end seems a little bit lame but when I saw it the first time at the movie theater, it really blew my mind.

Note : It is probably Terry Gilliam's most successful movie, financially speaking. Fortunatelly, it happens to be a good movie as well. Brad Pitt and Bruce Willis show that they have some range. A fascinating story with some typical great Gilliam directing. I really liked it.

Note : Nicolas Cage had some bad rep lately but from time to time, he gives a great perfomance. For example, I believe he really deserved his oscar for this movie. The directing is very good too and the story is just heartbreaking.

Note : Many people forgot it but it is with this movie that Nicole Kidman proved that she could act and not only be Mrs Cruise. The story is great with a lot of dark humor and Kidman shows some great acting skills.

Note : With this movie, Clint Eastwood shows he can direct anything. Even romantic movies become masterpieces with him. Of course, to have Meryl Streep in your cast helps a little... Anyway, Eastwood and Streep create a very touching and believable couple.
