1. Edward Scissorhands (1990)
One of the bests!!! Really good story (for those who like weird stories like me)...Good scenery( on of the greatest thing, in my opinion, about Burton's movies is the picture of the movie) but not the best. OF COURSE, the music...like usual, Danny Elfman! And Johnny Depp great performance!

2. Sleepy Hollow (1999)
I can tell you, this was the first movie i saw for Tim Burton. And good...i was just 9 and was so scared about the man without head!!! After my 15 i watched again (a little scared ..maybe trauma!) But i really enjoy it! Of course, like all Burton's movie..it's dark! But it's fun and again, the scenery and the music are great.

3. Corpse Bride (2005)
I can say that i prefer Corpse Bride better than Nightmare Before Chirstmas..Why? I don't really know! But i like both! The music of this one is better , i think. But the scenery of both are very similar for been a movie with "dolls"...

4. The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
Many say this one is the best work and the most famous of Tim Burton...most famous? Yes, it is...but not really the best.

5. Beetlejuice (1988)
I think this one is the most crazy one of him! Really fun...interesting. And Michael Keaton surprised me as Beetlejuice...a kind of performance i didnt expect from him!
(I really liked the cartoon too!)

6. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005)
One of my favorite of him. I've watched the old one when i was younger, and is totally a story that u expect him to do. Even with a colorful scenery, him always put a little dark things like the house of Charle, and Willy Wonka's flash-backs

i'm looking to read the book!

7. Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Stre... (2007)
I was kinda funny to watch Johnny Depp singing (Not saying that he is a bad singer...but the song that he sang were like...heavy and dark) In general it's okey.

8. Big Fish (2003)
A kind of different movie from Tim...still having strange scenery, but even though, different from usual. Very pretty story and different cast( We know Burton has a specific cast list) very enjoyable! I love it!

9. Batman Returns (1992)

Long time that i watched this movie...but i remember it was great...And i loved the Penguin...even he is creepy, and weird...totally Burnton's characteristics...
The first Batman i watched but i don't really remember it like this one...but i'm looking to watch and i'll put here on the list :) (I Must see...is with Jack Nicholson)

10. Planet of the Apes (2001)
This movie is okey...it's kinda totally different from the model that Burton does. but is watchable.

SO adorable!!! I watched many times when i was younger and at the time i didn't even know who Burton was...It's really dreamy!!!

12. Mars Attacks! (1996)
The disappointment!...not a Tim Burton style! Silly story...and really boring. Bad scenery...that was the worse for me!
I dont even but picture on it!! u.u

13. Alice in Wonderland (2010)
Alice in Wonder land...3D....Just one word.. AMAZING!
It every thing that i expected...It's a high level work of Tim Burton. And , of course, i could not forget Johnny Depp...A great job again! I can tell at this one specially that i loved the Clothing..alice's..Mad Hatter's..and the Red queen's clothing are wonderful!!...I just loved everything...

I actually thought "Mars Attacks!" was fun to watch ;P

I do on the other hand agree on "The Nightmare Before Christmas". A good movie, but not his best!

What about Ed Wood? That one is his best film.
Posted: 4 years, 2 months ago at Feb 23 23:48
Okey mars attack would be ok if was a movie from other director..but the fact that is a tim burton's movie..made me thinks about it this way....because it doesn't match with tim burton u-u ..

Oh i didn't watch Ed Wood yet..i started to watch but was online..and the image wasn't good.,..but i was having fun..i'm gonna try to watch again and then i'll put here :)

Well, a director don't just to have ONE style. But I understand what you mean. Mars Attacks is also a movie which is either loved or hated, so... ;)
Posted: 4 years, 2 months ago at Feb 24 0:33
I haven't seen mars attacks and planet of the apes, frankly,i wouldn't wanna disappoint myself after great films such as sweney todd, corpse bride and all the others on your list...and yeah,u haven't mentioned ed wood or his first film pee wee's big adventure, which is kinda nice,it indicates a distinguishing dark burton style....and yeah batman...
Posted: 4 years, 2 months ago at Feb 24 4:23
True...how could i forget!!! I'll but it right away :)
(Obs: i'm butting and commenting movies that i watched from him..as i sad ed wood i didn't watch yet)

Wow, I didn't know he made Planet of the apes nor James and the Giant Peach. You've gotta admit that's kinda cool.

You know I think he should direct a Harry Potter. I think that would be awesome. I mean, most of 'his' cast are already part of the potter cast anyway. Except for Johnny... well I think we can all agree that adding Johnny into the potter cast will not displease anyone. XD
Posted: 4 years, 1 month ago at Feb 24 9:55
Hahahaha i completely agree...and what a nice idea...i never thought about that...Tim burton as a director of harry potter... would be interesting!

i have seen all of tim burtons films except for 'big fish' .. so i was just wondering if it was any good? i mean i liked all the other ones he did .. that mars movie really just wasnt my style though .. watching sleepy hollow as we speak .. nightmare before christmas is my all time favorite though of coarse .. but if i could just get some opinions on the movie 'big fish' it would be much appriciated .. thanks -c.faust
Posted: 3 years, 3 months ago at Jan 23 15:31
Big fish has a kind of a different style from Tim...but still...is strong characteristic is there! It's more colorful...but the story is quiet good! If you watch you will realize that Tim made something different there...but i really recommend you to watch it :)and after tell me what you think about it
Posted: 2 years, 8 months ago at Aug 5 5:13
you forgot Coraline... although i don't blame you if you haven't watched it yet :)

Tim Burton should remake the rocky horror picture show!!! Jim Carey as Dr frankfurtor would be magnificent!!!!
Posted: 2 years ago at Apr 22 21:00
tim burton should definitely remake something wicked this way comes bc i think with his creativeness he could definitely come up with something original while not straying from the storyline.
