 What they did: Get married  Yeah, seriously. Even James Bond wasn't immune to marriage. Of course, some folks refuse to acknowledge this movie for various trivialities. But, as a fan of Diana Rigg, that in itself is a reason to like the movie. Joseph Grey's rating:

 What they did: Send their child away from destruction  Superman and Lois Lane  What he did: Altered the course of human history  The AI created by Superman's father specifically told him that he could not change the course of human history.  What they did: Have a 24 hour adventure  Also, one of the best movie couples.  Joseph Grey's rating:

 What he did: Go crazy  What she did: Go even crazier  I couldn't explain this movie to myself, let alone to someone else. But, it was clear to me by the actions of the two main characters, that they did love each other at some points during the film... or was it merely obsession? Sometimes, the two can overlap. 103 6 6.1 Cassandra and Hoops
 What he did: Get creative, and overcome his fears to save Cassandra's house  Actually, Hoops did a lot to help Cassandra. When he first meets her, he helps her escape from some mad bikers. He should have learned immediately she'd be a lot of trouble.  Joseph Grey's rating:
258 7.4 7.6 Charlie and Léna
 What she did: Pull Charlie out of his nihilistic shell  What he did: Go back into his nihilistic shell  (I mean nihilism in terms of definition number 4a: an extreme form of skepticism: the denial of all real existence or the possibility of an objective basis for truth.) This is definitely not the feel good movie of the summer. And I'm starting to think by my choices that I don't watch many romantic movies. Joseph Grey's rating:
1985 7.2 7.6 Sam and Andrew
 What he did: Get over his fear of living   Yes, finally a straightforward romantic story. I completely forgot about this one, even though I own it. Joseph Grey's rating:
1768 7.7 8.1 Elaine and Ben
 What he did: Completely ruin Elaine's wedding  Pretty messed up if you think about it. His love for Elaine definitely earned him a lot of enemies. But the again, fortune favors the bold  Joseph Grey's rating:
742 7.2 7.4 Lloyd and Diane
 What she did: Give Lloyd a pen  What he did: This  This 80's high school romance story really doesn't play out the way a lot of them did. I didn't see this one until I was grown up, and I like it more than some of the other 80's young adult movies I have seen.  Joseph Grey's rating:
965 7.3 7.6 Mercedès and Edmond
 and Fernand  What Fernand did: Frame Edmond, steal his fiancee, ruin his life  The Fernand of this movie version is a pretty bad dude. He took everything he could from his best friend Edmond, and he didn't even cherish the things he stole. What Edmond did: Re-direct Fernand's money, steal his wife, ruin his life  Seems kind of fitting, considering the terrible things Edmond had to endure. But, his love for Mercedes, plus a healthy dose of vengeance kept him focused. Joseph Grey's rating:
679 8.4 8 Marion and Damiel
 What He Did: Forsake Immortality for Love  In terms of the most romantic things ever done, this has to rank near the top. It's not every day an angel would want a mortal life, just for a girl. Joseph Grey's rating:

Titanic, Jack and Rose. He knowingly allowed Rose to lie upon the floating door whilst he froze to death in the sea and sunk to the bottom of the ocean... Then he waited for her once died as he prophesied, as a little old lady in her bed, and they were reunited upon the ill-fated liner. Also The Fountain. Tom, throughout the ages, tries to awaken his dead soulmate Izzi by the Tree of Life.
