Michael Pitt or Michael Shannon replacing James Cann would make a great hothead in Santino 'Sonny' Corleone.

Tom Wilkinson or Brian Cox replacing Robert Duvall as Tom Hagen.

"Maggie" Gyllenhaal (or for some eye candy purposes Ann Hataway) replacing Diane Keaton as Kay Adams.
