Description
The Chancellor of Germany is the head of government of Germany. In German politics the chancellor (German: Kanzler) is equivalent to that of a Prime Minister in other countries. Wikipedia There have been chancellors before, but with the constitution of the Federal Republic of Germany in 1949 the office has retained its present meaning. The current chancellor of Germany is Angela Merkel. Her vice-chancellor is Guido Westerwelle.
