The "American Pie" Series

1. American Pie (1999)
The original and dare I say classic American Pie. A really good movie actually, and one of the only worth while installments in the series. All the characters are excellent, and it makes the movie more than just a teen sex comedy. This is what started the whole genre, in my opinion.

2. American Pie 2 (2001)
The only other good one in the series. Not quite as good as the original, but still well worth a purchase, and will be remembered for awhile to come. A bit of a classic.

3. American Wedding (2003)
While this installment isn't bad my any means at all, it still fails dramatically to keep up with it's predecessors. A decent comedy, just no classic "American Pie Feel" to it.

4. American Pie Presents: Band Camp (2005)
Just the first of many unnecessary sequels. It's hard to say which one is the worst. Just ridiculous how they continue with it.

5. American Pie Presents: The Naked Mile (2006)
Not as bad as I was expecting, but still not good. A few good scenes here and there, but still killing the originals.

6. American Pie Presents: Beta House (2007)
Haven't seen it yet, but it will most likely end up like the others.

7. American Pie Presents: The Book of Love (2009)
The best unnecessary sequel yet. I was actually into this movie, and it seemed a lot less dirty than the others, and with a much better story too. Don't get me wrong though, this movie still isn't that good.

8. American Reunion (2012)
It isn't a very refreshing take on anything, nor are there any surprises. But 'American Reunion' still works as a nice tribute to the originals, in the way of all the cast members reuniting. I had some fun with it.
The Cinephile's rating:

All of the American Pie films, including the unnecessary sequels.

I have to agree with this list 100% my favorite 2 were the first 2 and beta house plus the naked mile were pretty good but i agree that the originals are the best, then the book of love, then beta house and nake mile and band camp, probably because im in band and hated the negative stereotypes, was the worst
