Ten Things I Do With Listal
 8  6.8  5.7 The first reason I started to use Listal for, was to catalog movies and shows I own on DVD.
By the way, you can import all your movies and DVDs if you already list them on IMDb or DVD Profiler. Then, I also added books and games. 
2 3 5.1 Next step was to keep track of what I've seen on screen, books I read, great videogames I ever played...
You can add personal notes to each item, too. It is both a diary, sort of, and a journey through fond memories of a lifetime! 
29 5.7 0 "Want to watch" is the button to click. Once you've seen it, you can toggle the flag to "Watched".
Also, you can pick recommendations from fellow Listal users and from their lists. Someone even uses official checklists of "must see" movies, like IMDb's Top 250 and so on.

Listal is a great way to share opinions, and find out about others'. BTW, the Listal ranking system gives you points for ratings and reviews, and for other activities on Listal.

Everything here is a list: your favorite movies, your favorite directors, your favorite actors and actresses... Then, it's fun to create your own custom lists on any topics you like. It's a way to "organize" memories too, like the TV shows of a happy childhood, the celebrities I like best (or the least!), top-notch photography, etc. 
2656 7.4 7.9 So, for me, Listal started as something I used just for myself, a catalog and a personal diary, but it ended up as social stuff!
If I like a list, I vote for it and possibly add my comment. Same goes for interesting images and videos posted by Listal users. 
19 8 7 I post images I like, and create "public" lists, so others can vote and comment as well.
Also, leaving comments and "thank you" on others' personal pages is part of the game! 
8 6 5.3 Some Listal users befriended me, and I gratefully accepted their online friendship! Many of them I "follow" too: that means that I can see what they are doing on Listal (posting images, voting lists, etc.) in the "Updates from contacts" screen. Oftentimes I follow their example and visit the same lists and images.
147 4.8 5.5 On Listal forums, we can discuss favorite movies, TV shows, etc., play games about films, or leave feedback about Listal...
31 5.2 5.5 Listal database is great to explore and to build my own lists, but I also contribute to it by importing titles that are not in the database yet. Sometimes I edit items in order to enter some missing information.
And I should not forget to add the right Tags for each movie, show, book, game...! |

Great list, I'm still trying to remember every movie I ever watched which is not an easy tast since my memory is not the greatest .. but with the help of best lists and things like that I already listed over a thousand movies counting .. I'm getting there. So yeah it's really a way to remember all the movies and list things I still want to watch. Maybe I'll do video games next .. but yeah that'll be even harder xD
