Great comprehensive list. It's a tragedy what happened to Tartan! I don't know where I'm going to get my fix of hyper-violent Asian Cinema from now.

Cheers. I've updated the info box as the Tartan catalogue has been bought by another media company. Hopefully this will mean the films will still be available as re-issues etc.

Great job with this list. That took a lot of work.

Description

This is a list of films released on either VHS or DVD by UK-based film distributor Tartan Films. The company specialised in distributing independent avant-garde arthouse movies & built up a cult following. Unfortunately they went bankrupt and ceased operations in June 2008.
