Once again, Quentin Tarantino made a list of best and worst movies of the year. But this time he did not just drop a top 10 but he created a sort of "Tarantino's Choice Awards".
Do you agree with him? Please comment and discuss ;)

I just saw his list a little bit ago & was considering turning it into a list. You beat me to it! I won't complain though, as you've done an excellent job with it. :)

Interesting mix of films here, yes? Can't say I've seen many of them, but given the feedback I've received I'm surprised a few made his top films.

Gotta say that overall I'm rather disappointed with this list. I personally can't see the rhyme or reason to any of it. Strange to me that movies as ordinary or as "just fine" as Moneyball, Warrior, and Our Idiot brother find a spot on his best list, while Hugo, Drive, and a number of other interesting, daring, or otherwise noteworthy films got left out.

And is he serious with something as ill-executed as Red State on his list and no mention anywhere of Hobo With a Shotgun or Rubber? Oh well. At least he's honest. And at least he got Attack the Block right.

Glad Tarantino liked Rise of the Planet Of The Apes so much, I really liked it too - and that he considered The Green Lantern means I am not the only one who liked it. The X-Men movie was good, but I am surprised that it got a top spot over War Horse and The Iron Lady, but Tarantino is nothing if not unpredictable.

Another example that, even though you are good movie director, it doesn't necessarily mean that you have a good taste. I mean, according to Tarantino, Speed was the best movie of the 90's and Kubrick thought that 'The jerk' was awesome. Go figure....

Speed was the best film of the 90's. Surprised you didn't know that.

@Xanadon't - I was surprised he didn't mention Rubber or Hobo with a Shotgun as well.

@the giraffe- Seriously. And what about 13 Assassins?! I find it hard to believe that he hasn't seen it. I find it harder to believe that he saw it and didn't find enough to admire in it to make mention of the film somewhere here. Strange...

@Xanadon't, you're just a bully...
Posted: 1 year, 4 months ago at Jan 22 6:23
Why am I a bully? You know I was joking about the Speed thing, right?

@Xanadon't, I know, dude.... That's what annoying is about those comments, you never know for sure when someone's being ironic..

this list just proves that Tarantino is messed up in the head - Green Lantern a possible good movie...Insidious a bad movie - wtf?
