1. Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II - PC Games
The most awesome and epic Star Wars game to ever grace this earth! Not only was it a FPS, but we could now use lightsabers, force powers, online pwning, and real actors with real cinematic cutscenes! Not to mention a good plot, character development, and all that other important stuff that makes a good story. The game also implemented a split story where the characters actions determined whether Kyle Katarn would choose the light side or dark side of the force, each with their own story arc and endings!

2. Star Wars: Battlefront - PlayStation 2
It's tough which Battlefront goes first, but first was first so it goes first. Battlefront was such a simple and basic idea it's amazing they didn't come up with it earlier. Let us play as an average trooper on a battlefield? Heck yes, dang it feels good to be a stormtrooper.

3. Star Wars: Battlefront II - PlayStation 2
Battlefront II is arguably better than the first, but I can really go either way. I feel they took something away from Battlefront by letting us play as Jedi, but they added some other cool features and smoother gameplay. Either way, this game hardly gets old.

4. Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast - PC Games
The sequel to the best Star Wars game ever had humongous shoes to fill, and it didn't disappoint. While not quite as good as Jedi Knight, in my humblest of opinions, Jedi Outcast still gave a great story, great characters, we still got lightsabers (and we could now etch stuff into walls with them, yeah we all did it for hours on end) and some updated force powers. What could it possibly be missing? Those awesome real life cinematic cutscenes, duh.

5. Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy - PC Games
A sequel of sorts to Jedi Outcast, Jedi Academy had Kyle Katarn take a backseat to the story and instead you play as his apprentice, going on missions for the Jedi academy to various planets. Once again bringing in the ability to choose the path of light or dark, Jedi Academy was a great game in terms of mechanics. The characters were forgettable and the plot was hardly connected, but the online gaming of being able to use two sabers, a duel-blade (Darth Maul style FTW) and of course force powers more than made up for it.
Sabin Kenobi's rating:

How many of us can brag we've taken down a Super Star Destroyer? Probably not many, but this game made it possible... if you were legitimately awesome. Tough as nails, Balance of Power added the infamous B-Wing as well as new missions and campaigns, even the ability to go online and attempt taking down that gigantic SSD. Oh the ace flying to be had.

7. Star Wars: X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter - PC Games
XvT was the mash-up of the individual games X-Wing and Tie Fighter, and the reason I begged my Dad to buy a new computer in 1997. This game allowed players to choose their ships, their side in the war of the rebels and the empire, do dogfights, go on missions, complete campaigns and even play online. It did feel like it was missing a few things, but the Balance of Power add-on (see above) was the answer.

8. Star Wars: Rogue Squadron 3D - PC Games
Another flying game, but this time on the planet surface. Where XvT succeeded in space, Rogue Squadron kicked butt on land. This game is the reason we bought a 3d accelerator card (yes, they didn't just come with them back in the stone age) for our computer. The missions were unique and the gameplay was top notch. The only disappointment is that the sequels came out exclusively for the gamecube, and no one cares about that stupid thing :P I kid but seriously, the only people I know who have one just use it to play Smash...

9. Star Wars: Empire At War (Gold Pack) - PC Games
Empire at War is a RTS of sorts that lets you take over the entire galaxy as either faction. The add-on pack, Forces of Corruption (included in the "gold pack"), added a third faction and let you play as pirates and bounty hunters, those sorts of folk. They even threw in a little storyline for you to follow, or you could just go all out and take over everything. If you were really cocky you could play online against friends for hours on end.

10. Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds Saga - PC Games
The first "real" RTS for the Star Wars series. There was an RTS before it, but we don't talk about Force Commander because after playing it for 5 minutes (yes, that's all it takes) everyone realized it sucked. Battlegrounds had some add-on packs but if you buy the Saga version you get everything. This game is an exact copy of Age of Empires II, in fact I think it might be running on the same engine. Who care, this game is great. Not only can you kill gungans, but you can build your own levels where you start with a million jedi and go slaughter whoever you want. Epic.

11. Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron - PlayStation Portable
Elite Squadron is the first Battlefront where players could start up in space, then transfer to the ground and vice versa. The battle is everywhere! It's actually quite impressive for a handheld, gameplay is pretty smooth, story is pretty stupid, but at least you can fight wherever you want.

12. Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron - PlayStation Portable
The first handheld Battlefront for us junkies who just couldn't get enough playing it exclusively at home. Renegade Squadron actually had a decent story about the unknown squadron that nobody ever talks about (it's very hush-hush) and actually made every narrow escape in the movies possible. Other than that, you can still do galactic conquest or online play and conquer the galaxy.

13. Star Wars: Episode I - Racer - PC Games
One of the two redeeming things about Episode I, Racer lets you pick a podracer and have at it on numerous planets racing against all sorts of colorful characters. Gameplay is really good, and there are a lot of different racers to choose from. When you unlock the longer version of the Boonta Eve race on Tatooine, they actually did a spectacular job of recreating the exact race from the movie. Just don't play it in the arcade if you ever see it around, that version is impossible.

14. LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga - PlayStation 3
The culmination of the two previous Star Wars Lego games, Complete Saga lets you play through all the levels from Episode I all the way to Episode VI. I know it's silly but I like this game. The humor they throw in and the kid friendly gameplay make it truly a "fun for all" game.

15. LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy - PlayStation 2
Don't ask me why, but they came out with a Star Wars Lego game about the original trilogy SECOND, AFTER doing the prequels. Regardless, the game continues to capture the essence of Star Wars, while in Lego form and still fun, funny, and suitable for the youngest of ages.

16. LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game - PlayStation 2
What game should we make? I know, let's take a beloved franchise like Star Wars, but make everything out of Legos! Seriously, this game was a project that was a joke of sorts. The ironic part of the story? It made buckets and buckets of money. Fortunately the screw-offs who thought it would just be a gag-game for a few fans were smart enough to make a sequel; after all what's better than buckets of money? More buckets of money.

17. Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith - PlayStation 2
I know I was surprised too. The gameplay in this game is actually pretty awesome, I almost paid full price for this game like right when it came out, it's that good. Episode III was easily my favorite of the prequels and this game is also a fav. The plot pretty much follows the movie, but the Jedi battles in this game were epic beyond anything the Ps2 had to offer at the time. Not only that, you could do 1-on-1 fights like Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat style and fight your friends.

18. Super Star Wars: Return of the Jedi - Super famicom and SNES
The Super Nintendo was awesome, this game made it awesome-er! Super Return of the Jedi follows the movie plot, but finally lets you in on the action. Not much else to be said other than if you haven't played it, these Super Nintendo Star Wars games are the closest you'll get to playing the movies.

19. Super Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back - Super famicom and SNES
Another great iteration of the movie. Super Empire Strikes Back lets you experience the movie first hand and even lets you fight Darth freakin' Vader! Force powers and lightsabers are also available in this awesome game. Again, if you're local used video game store has this in their case and isn't charging you $50, it's a steal.

20. Super Star Wars - Super famicom and SNES
Probably the least favorite of the three Super Star Wars games, it was still a first in the awesomeness that is playing the movies. Super Star Wars was the basis upon which the other two games built. Not only that, this game is hard, I mean evil hard, like you paid for Nintendo Power to find codes because the Internet wasn't even invented yet (ha). Ok it's not that hard, but seriously, tough game.

21. Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles - PlayStation
Jedi Power Battles, yeah a new Star Wars movie comes out with more than two Jedi characters so lets make a game where you can play as some of them! This game had a fun factor I can't really describe. Actually let me put it this way, this game is boring as heck by yourself, but with a friend it's awesome. Once you get passed the stupid gungan level where you're falling off stuff all the time, this game gets even better.

22. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - PC Games
KOTOR won a bunch of awards, was game of the year, blah blah blah... personally I don't see what all the hype was about. I didn't play this game until years after it came out, but still I just don't see why it's so popular. The story was pretty good, the gameplay is unique and not really what I like or want in a game, and it's short. Seriously this game takes no time to beat, fortunately it's got the whole choose light side or dark side thing but still. You've played one BioWare game, you've played them all.

23. Star Wars: X-Wing - PC Games
Getting back to the roots, X-Wing was where Star Wars flying games started. I bought this game as a kid at a garage sale for $5! It still had the cellophane wrapping and was a pain to install the FIVE floppy disks (I still have them lying around somewhere), but man was it worth it. The game let you fly your own X-Wing and even had cool little mini-cutscenes before and after missions. I never got close to beating it, but it led the way to XvT and Balance of Power.

24. Star Wars: Masters Of Teras Kasi - PlayStation
Masters of Teras Kasi is a Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat rip-off. Most people hate this game. I think that for fanboys of Star Wars like me, this game is actually pretty good. The problem? Luke Skywalker with lightsaber vs. anyone who isn't a Jedi, and the possibility of them winning. Luke can slice anyone up! But no, they had to make it fair so poor old Chewie has a chance, yeah right. Still, this game is good for a few laughs and old times sake.

25. Star Wars Yoda Stories - PC Games
Yoda Stories is a fun little top-down game you could play on your computer while pretending to "chat" on AOL with your friends. Basically every time you play Yoda has a new mission for you where you get to go to various planets, collect items, solve puzzles and kills bad guys. It is a fun and short little game but it can get old after awhile as gameplay is very repetitive. Still, if you work in front of a computer all day at a mundane job, it might be worth picking up.

26. Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance - PC Games
The even more popular "sequel" of sorts to XvT, X-Wing Alliance just didn't cut it for me. I loved XvT and played the crap out of it, so much so my discs are probably about to go bad. Alliance's selling point was you could fly a YT-1300 (that's the model type of ship that is the same as the infamous Millenium Falcon to you non-fanboys), of course people bought it because "Dude you fan fly that aluminum Falcon ship from that movie!!" While it is basically just more of the same, it moved too slow story-wise for me and it didn't have as much freedom as XvT. It's fun if you just need more flying, but otherwise I don't really recommend it.

27. Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire - Nintendo 64
Ah Shadows of the Empire, another game I will never get around to finishing because I just don't care. The book wasn't that good, the game isn't that good, the SOUNDTRACK FOR A BOOK wasn't that good, it's just not worth the torture. You play as Dash Rendar and follow his plotline rather than the movie's after the battle of Hoth. Beyond that I don't know how well the game follows the book because I just couldn't stick with it, the controls are horrible (N64 controllers are horrible) and the plot in the game is lame. Not worth the time or effort.

28. Star Wars: Dark Forces - PC Games
How could I possibly start a list with Jedi Knight: DARK FORCES II and put it's predecessor near the bottom of the list!?! Like this: Dark Forces is an DOS based FPS game that introduces Kyle Katarn to the Star Wars universe. While I played Jedi Knight first, this game is unforgivable in controls and gameplay. I can't even finish this game it's so messed up and difficult to play, I just don't have the patience. While I bet it was great at the time, this game doesn't hold up.

29. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - PlayStation 3
The Force Unleashed was one of the most anticipated Star Wars games for the next-gen consoles, and it disappointed me beyond my wildest expectations. While I don't go looking for glitches in a game, this one had plenty; I could write them out for a mile long. Frustrating controls and gameplay, a stupid "lets make this all tie together and make our character the basis upon which all Star Wars movies function on" plot went beyond my tolerance level for stupidity. Yes, over the top force powers are cool, but everything else about this game makes me want to vomit.

I disconsidered your list when you put Force Unleashed as last and Knights of the Old Republic as 22nd. Most people who read this should do the same

Have you played my top 5? ANY of them? If you have, you should know TFU and KOTOR fail to impress by comparison. But thanks for reading :)

Who ever chose this list has lost there mind how anyone can not put kotor 1-2 not 1 and 2 has been hit in the head with a tye fighter

As I've said before, it's my opinion and if you've played the Jedi Knight, Battlefront and X-Wing Vs TIE fighter series you'd probably agree. By the way, big talk coming from someone who doesn't even know how to spell TIE fighter. It's not tye fighter, it's TIE fighter, for Twin Ion Engine. Star Wars nerdiness. Bring it.
