Plunderphonics

Albums that sample music from other musicians. Plunderphonics albums usually put more emphasis on the musicality of the voice samples; the voice samples usually aren't at the forefront of your attention.
I'm not a fan of most hip-hop, but I like trip-hop and plunderphonics, both heavily influenced by hip-hop.

An underrated album. Moby often samples the field recordings of the folklorist Alan Lomax (he recorded many folk artists).

Tape Music

These albums are instrumental.
The Disintergration Loops is a looped playing of music the artist created and found in in bad shape. The ambient music becomes slowly destroyed and deteriorated; Basinski said he played it with his friends during the 9/11 attacks.

If you like music with loops, I recommend my list of glitch albums.

My favorite albums that heavily sample voice recordings.

Recommendations are appreciated.
