The Sounds of Music, That I Could Care Less About
After hearing her first couple of songs, I was thinking to myself, "There is no way, she will be become a big hit, it will only be one album, and then will be forgotten about."
Clearly, I was wrong. Whose going to clean the glitter, off the dance floor? Which Mick Jagger, is the song talking about? The 60's Mick Jagger? The 70's Mick Jagger, or the 80's? Jamie M.'s rating:
With the millionth hearing, of Party Rock Anthem, I found myself not wanting to parry, even more than usual.
For me, a party song, should make you feel like partying, not the exact opposite. As for the whole Party Rock music, thing that seems to popular as of late.... I give it two years, there years at most. I not going to get into the exact reasons, as to why I don't really like ICP all that much.
As for the whole Magnets song, I feel like a part of my mind, dies, everytime I hear it. Jamie M.'s rating:
He may have not started the whole auto tune fad, as of late. But he sure is milking it for all of it's worth.
Jamie M.'s rating:
My First Kiss, was okay to listen at first, but now it gets so overplayed, it's not even crazy.
Not of one of the best bands out there, just okay at best.
They were kind of the Disney version of Henson, but Henson is slightly way better. He's okay, not great, not amazing, but just okay.
Who knows, maybe one day Bieber will going one of make even great records, and songs. Or maybe, he'll end will becoming the new Aaron Carter, His songs are okay, not great just okay. That being said, Mr. Lonely wasn't exactly one of my favorite songs when it first start being played.
Crank That (Soulja Boy), was not played to death when it first came out, but became more progressive annoying after hearing it for the millionth time.
And that music video, I could go on for hours about it. Jamie M.'s rating:
For single handily making some really great songs, sound even less cool.
Gee, thanks, Michael Bolton. Jamie M.'s rating:
I liked the song Axel F, the original version, not the Crazy Frog version.
I think that Chris Martin, said it best.... "We refer to him as 'That Little Frog'. We don't like the frog and it brings me out in hives. I go red. The point is that little thing should have its legs chopped off. I'd like to eat them in a restaurant." Jamie M.'s rating:
He just didn't really make a really big impact on me, musically speaking.
Plus, Aaron's Party, is one my least favorite songs of all time. Jamie M.'s rating:
No thanks, I rather hear the versions, done by Phil Collins, and Smashing Pumpkins.
But thanks, anyway. Jamie M.'s rating:
On behalf of Canada, I would to formally apologizing for giving the rest of the world, Nickleback and Theory Of A Deadman.
Jamie M.'s rating:
It's not that they are great boy band, (and for the record, I count New Kids On The Block and N'sync, as two of my favorite guilty pleasure bands, of all time), is just as far as boy bands go, so far they are kind of bland.
I give One Direction, two years, maybe three at most. At first Creed was a band, that I kind of liked but now, you couldn't pay to hear some of their later music, if you tried.
He's okay, I guess, however he's far from being the greatest singer out there at the moment, but yet for some odd reason, he seems to be everywhere, and performing on everyone else's song.
Plus, his latest song, "Back In Time", is just kind of meh. As country music bands go, they are okay I guess, they're just not as great as everyone makes them out to be.
Of all of the current music performers, that are out there at the moment, he's probably one of the most overrated.
I have NO idea, who nickle back are, maybe they are the cover artist version of Nickleback.
In that case, they're still pretty bad. Jamie M.'s rating:
No this is more like it! For some really odd reason, they have become even more successful with every album, they make.
The old Nickleback was ok, the new Nickleback? It's like one of aliens from the Invasion Of The Body Snatchers attack them, and took over their bodies. Yeah, that explains everything! Of all of the overrated artists, out there and there are many, she could be the most overrated one, yet.
It might be the most controversial pick, on my list yet, given how legendary the Nugg is, but I'm not a really big fan of him.
Lip syncing controversy aside, she was okay but not great.
That being said, her last song "Outta My Head (Ay Ya Ya)", would make a great interrogation tactic. After hearing the song, repeated continuously, you can probably get someone to confess, to pretty much anything. Along with Lil Wayne, he's pretty much responsible for one of the most annoying things about music, now a days.
Auto tuning. If there ever was a Twilight Zone episode, about an sub average band from the 90's, who not only survived the 90's, but oddly be more popular now then they were in the 90's.
They even outlived fellow 00's band, The Calling. Somewhere, Scott Stapp, is wondering, "Why, am I not this lucky?" Pretentious, overplayed, and very much blah, Train is one band that should never left the station. She's likely to become even more successful this year.
And judging by her first single, the Mayan's were off, but only by a year. |
