Oh, no! You forgot Steve McQueen's 'Hunger' on your list! Please take the time to watch this fantastic movie, and be on the lookout for 'Twelve Years A Slave' in 2013. There were plenty of long shots in Caligula, as well.
Don't misunderstand me, as I respect this list for what's in it. You've collected a good bit of Extended Takes in this, and I love that you have Rope and Twelve Angry Men listed.

great list! the long take at jack's house was inspired by i am cuba's long ass takes. only one that i can think of off the top of my head that you didn't list is that there is a great long ambitious shot in the mighty quinn with denzel. oh yeah also the movie running time with bruce campbell. it's like rope. and da palma needs another mention cause that motherfucker loves him some extended takes.
