This man deserves Oscar more then anyone!!!! :) Just think about it, he was better Sid then the real Sid, and you Harry Potter fans come on raise your hand if you didn't love him as Sirius Black (I hope that such person does not exist) and Thinker tailor and so on, amazing, and yet no Oscar for him, just shame on them.In eyes of us ordinary people and other actors he's a master, and I just can't understand why is he so underrated by Academy.

Only Gary deserves Oscar more then him, at first I hated him, I hated Titanic (kill me but that movie and his performance in it just horrible), but then he started in The Aviator, Catch me if you can, Revolutionary Road, and he was amazing and I really started to love him, but luck just passes him by on Oscars night, such a shame.

Schindler's list didn't get him Oscar, how?? He was amazing, he played Oskar Schindler so well and he deserved Oscar for that. Ok Tom is a better actor then Liam but in that 1994 Liam was the better one, with a greater performance, performance that left me speechless.

Yes I love him, adore him, and yes I think that if nothing else he at least deserved to be nominated for his role in Harry Potter movies, but he never even got nominated for any of his work, and that's just such a shame, because he's really amazing and talented, maybe he's choosing all the wrong roles (I don't believe that but that would explain why he was never nominated or won an Oscar)
snoopy's rating:
I love him, and I think that he deserved Oscar, for Gladiator, for Walk the line and even for Her (he wasn't nominated for that movie, I don't know why)

Not giving him an Oscar, while he was still breathing and creating some of the greatest movies of all times, was, in my opinion, the greatest and most unforgivable mistake in history of Oscar. That man was so amazing, one of the best, and to me the best filmmaker of all times, and I just can't believe that no movie he ever made couldn't get him the well deserved Oscar for best director.

And not giving him Oscar, the second greatest mistake. He could nail any comedy and than start in Hitchcock movies or any other thriller or drama and nail them as well. North by Northwest on one side (perfectly done thriller) and then Bringing up Baby or His Girl Friday on other side (perfectly done comedy) and no Oscar for him, really?? And he had better performances then those he was nominated for like movies I listed or even Notorious, and no nominations for those movies????

So Gladiator, Black Hawk Down, American Gangster, Alien... and many more great movies, and some how Academy thinks that he's not an Oscar worthy material, just 3 nominations, no winnings, and he has such a big pile of amazing movies behind him.

Another great man who never won golden statue, and I really don't know why, 12 Angry Men, Dog Day Afternoon, Equus, Murder on the Orient Express... and yet again Academy didn't find any of his birlliant work Oscar wearthy.

snoopy's rating:
Just like with Hitchcock, not giving this man Oscar big, huge mistake, he was a 12 time nominee, and 4 of those were for best director, he definitely made a difference in history of film making, his movies were bold and original, and he's more appreciated today by everyone then he was while he was still alive, and I find that so wrong and just mind blowing.

Thank you for suggestions, I will include some of them in my list, and Kandi Chaplin won Oscar in 1973, I also thought he didn't but then I look on IMDb page and he won one, never for best actor or director, but this list is about those who never won Oscar in any category. :)

The Oscars suck... Fellini at least received an Oscar for the Best Foreign Language Film category (twice)...
