I agree that most are classic but I've never heard anyone call any of these women plain (except for Kate and Marilyn, including by myself, because honestly Monroe's features are very "safe" and average looking at best IMO, Kate isn't "safe" looking but more masculine). Also, Brigitte can look exotic in some of her pictures, especially with that gap between her teeth showing. A good list though nonetheless :-)

I know where you're coming from with Brigitte, but again, she is someone who could be considered exotic who i just happen to think is MORE classic than exotic. I mean, she's cute, but her look is a look that many women of Mediterranean descent have.
As for people not calling many of the women on this list plain, you would probably be surprised at the amount of people who I have heard in person or read on the internet referring to them as plain. This is especially true of halle berry and kelly brook.
With the amount of make-up all these women have on them, it's impossible to tell what they actually look like anyway. On a side note, Kate Winslet is a goddess, such is her talent. It doesn't matter if she is "plain" or "classic" or any other label thrown at her.
