Did you get Inindo, (one of my favorites), Secret of the Stars (supposedly one of the worst rpgs of all time, but I think it's fun), and that one Ys game? Oh, how about Wizardry V? It's hard for me to look at the list because it takes me a long time to scroll.

Oh, and Paladin's Quest, that was a sweet one! I loved how the controls allowed you to play with one hand so you could eat your snacks.

Ok, added all the entries mentioned by AJWyrm, plus a few more: Uncharted Waters 1 & 2, Might & Magic III, as well as two more Japanese-only releases - Romancing Saga 3 and Star Ocean. I still wish to add Romancing Saga 1 & 2 (japanese only) and another Ys title (japan only as well), once I get more info on those.

Top 5 are pretty much among the best games I have ever played. With all the 3D and graphics it has all gone too complicated, not that I don't like the new games as well. But, there's no such feeling as playing SNES Zelda or Final Fantasy III (or VI it was in Europe I think) with those new games...

Thanks. Kryptic Centurion is going to start up a PlayStation edition, and I'm working on the NES list next. If others want to start up similar lists, call it here so we're not cross-duplicating them. But the PS2 edition scares me. I know it will be enormous.

I actually removed many of the japanese-only RPG games for SNES to keep the list on single page (under 50). Thanks for the suggestions though. If you feel like making a SNES RPG - Japanese titles list, go ahead, and I can link it up with this list.

I havent played all these games but but majority I have, Final Fantasy 3 is the all time best game in this list. Uncharted 2 is a must play, a true game beyond it time and they need to remake. Orge battle is not on this list but also another must play and you will not be disappointed.

dang it looks like i need to get a snes emulator going again these lists are bringing back some crazy memorys still haven't beat mario rpg lol.. always meant to but never quiet did..
