Stevie Wonder was on a few of my soundtracks. I had some of his earlier songs used such as 'My Cherie Amore' and 'Sunshine of my Life'. I wanted to use songs from his album 'Conversation Peace' but unfortunately never got around to using them...
Oasis appeared on pretty much every one of my soundtracks as well. I skipped around with the songs I used from them. I used a good bit of songs from '(What's the Story) Morning Glory' and 'Dig Out Your Soul'.
At the time I made the soundtrack that Christian Bale was on it was January 2009. At that time Christian Bale flipped his shit on the set of Terminator Salvation and started yelling at one of the people who worked there. It was recorded then quickly remixed and set to music.
He appeared on two soundtracks with a live version of 'The Set Up' with Phil Collins as well as studio version used on another soundtrack and then 'Misplaced Love' on the same soundtrack as the live version of 'The Set Up'.
I used the song 'Haven't Met You Yet' on my last soundtrack. I heard this song playing at my last job off and on over the stores radio system during the time I worked there and it got stuck in my head.
The song 'Alice' was used on the last soundtrack I made. I heard it in the movie The Lovely Bones and it just stuck with me so I decided to use it on my last soundtrack.
I've taken a good few road-trips over the past few years and I've included these artists on the soundtracks/mix tapes I made for them. It really made me feel great to drive down the road listening to fantastic music. The soundtracks I made really made those trips to the mall, botanical gardens, Chinese restaurants, etc., more memorable. Good times...
