Nice selection!

'Disturbia' is not a remake of 'Rear window'. It is inspired by it. It is like saying 'Inglourious Basterds' is a remake of 'The Diry dozen'. You could say then that all the movies directed by Tarantino are remakes since they are all heavily inspired by other movies.

You forgot also another version of 'Body Snatchers', the one directed by Abel Ferrara.

Nice list, and I can tell you put a lot of effort, so you have my vote... There are just a couple that you forgot to add.

Ju-on: The Grudge was a re-make of the original, original Japanese version Ju-on: The Curse, which was straight-to-video, in 2000. I still think it was the best, most terrifying of the entire series.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation is considered by many a remake of the original. I think that is all opinion though, but you should definitely include Ju-on: The Curse.

Either way, you got my vote!!

^Same applies to Evil Dead II. Many think it's a remake, but I think it's just a sequel.
