I still get supified with the movies I haven't seen... I mean, really!

Here's some "directors to explore": they're either Top directors I really *have* to explore, interesting cult directors I really want to discover, some other directors that got my attention in some movie making me want to get to know them further, or the people like Todd Solondz whom by all the weirdness around him got my curiosity.
There are some of whom I already saw enough to be sure I love them, but there's still much of their work to keep exploring!

Citizen Kane is probably the best movie on this list and you have a lot more from Truffaut to see than the two you mentioned.

Yeah I had add Alain Resnais and Chaplin but hadn't put up any films yet. I had also thought about Eisenstein (anyway Battleship Potemkin was already in my "Definitely should have watched...by now" list). And then there are some directors that I decided to mention a couple of films but that I probably could go on forever, like with the suggestions you made from Godard. And Fellini! You're right, I totally forgot writing "8 1/2"!!

I strongly recommend that you watch Funny Games 1997 version :D It's way better than the new one.
