Quentin Tarantino Films: Ranked
Absolutely awesome film. 'Tis at the bottom of the list, but I still love it. Which says a lot about how much I love QT. /Fanboy.
Awesome cast, dialogue and the lot. A tad overly long would be one of my little critisisms... JoeyLostDharma's rating:
A lot of fun to be had in this one. Tarantino wrote and starred in this, with his good amigo Robert Rodriguez at the director's helm. The start of a great partnership here.
A completely bizzare movie that goes from typical Tarantino style gangster to B horror movie. JoeyLostDharma's rating:
Great dialog, very cute girls and some awesome car chases. There was some hate for this by critics and fans alike, but personally I loved it.
If nothing else, watch it for the last car chase. JoeyLostDharma's rating:
Outrageous action and a completely unique script makes Kill Bill and unforgettable joy to watch.
Uma will never play a more recognizable character in her career. JoeyLostDharma's rating:
Same as above more or less. You can't really see one without the other. I count them as one movie really.
JoeyLostDharma's rating:
True Romance has a great cast, great dialog, great action and actually has a lot of heart.
A couple you can really understand, and root for. Definitely one of his more 'gettable' films. JoeyLostDharma's rating:
Fast paced, quick talking gangster flick with an awesome cast. The pieces fall together very nicely as the film progresses, and the ending is just plain cool.
Some very quotable lines from this too. JoeyLostDharma's rating:
This one isn't for everyone, but I think it's amazing.
Classic Tarantino story, with Oliver Stone's vision of direction. It has aspects of both really. It's the sort of audacious movie experience that we will probably never see again. I watched the first 'diner' scene and fell in love. It's an absolute thrill ride. Get through that scene, and if you're not offended already, then go for it. Otherwise, stay far away. JoeyLostDharma's rating:
Possibly his best constructed script to date.
Kept me entertained for the full 150 minutes, which is no easy feat. The most fun I've ever had in the cinema. Nothing short of epic, but lacking the absolute 'coolness' of Pulp Fiction. JoeyLostDharma's rating:
One of the most influencial films of all time, and my personal favorite.
Sheer awesomeness. JoeyLostDharma's rating:
