When her husband is taken hostage by his striking employees, a trophy wife (Deneuve) takes the reins of the family business and proves to be a remarkably effective leader. Business and personal complications arrive in the form of her ex-lover (Depardieu), a former union leader.
Marina, a twenty-three year-old girl, lives with her architect father in a prototype factory town by the sea. Finding the human species strange and repellent, she keeps her distance. Instead she stubbornly observes it through songs of suicide, the mammal documentaries of Sir David Attenborough and the sex education lessons she receives from her only friend, Bella. A stranger comes to town and challenges her to a table football duel, on her own table. Meanwhile, her father ritualistically prepares for his exit from the 20th century, which he considers to be “overrated.” Caught between the two men and her collaborator Bella, Marina investigates the wondrous mystery of human fauna.
Hanna and Simon, a couple in their early forties, live together in Berlin. With their 20th anniversary looming, they both become restless despite being truly and deeply in love. Unbeknownst to one another, they separately become acquainted with Adam, a younger man, and fall in love with him. Clearly not your typical 1930 s romp, this reinvention of those classic films with Tykwer s sleek direction is a playful update: an intellectual study of a modern couple looking for redefinition in a world of absolutes.
A young princess is the subject of a tug-of-war among witches, as each struggles to find the suitable antidote to a death sentence inculcated by an evil sister.

The first meeting between Daniele Segre and Lisetta Carmi took place in Ravenna in January 2009 on the occasion of the monographic exhibition on the Genoese photographer. A few months later Lisetta wrote a letter to Daniele and invited him to Cisternino in Puglia, where he had been living for forty years, to tell him the story of his life. Thanks to this meeting, Lisetta takes all her photographs out of the archive to tell them to the director and, after many years, decides to go back to playing the piano, her first big passion. An incredible life that of Lisetta, which began on 15 February 1924 in via Sturla 15 in Genoa in a bourgeois family of Jewish origins. From an early age she became passionate about the study of music, becoming a promising concert artist; later, he leaves the piano to devote himself to what will become the other great passion of a lifetime: photography. Between new choices and new awareness flow - as in a great twentieth century novel - extraordinary and painful stories and events, such as the memories of a world lost after the war, the racial laws and the flight to Switzerland with the scores of the well-tempered Harpsichord Bach, and then the Genoa of intellectuals and artists in the Sixties with which he began his activity as a photographer, transvestites, port, eroticism and authoritarianism of the monumental cemetery of Staglieno, travels to document the world, the fulminating photo meeting with Ezra Pound; finally, the profound mystical encounter with Babaji and the construction of the Ashram of Cisternino, the first built in the West, for which he definitively abandons photography. Background and subject of the events of his life are Genoa, Israel, Sicily, Sardinia, Paris, Venezuela, Mexico, England, Ireland, Greece, Afghanistan, India and Puglia. Lisetta Carmi is one of the most important photographers in Italian and international history. His shots, his vision of the world, his passionate works and in contrast with the society of the Sixties and Seventies have marked the art world up to today. His photographs on Ezra Pound have been awarded the prestigious Niépce Prize and published and exhibited, like many other photographs, around the world. Lisetta Carmi, "a soul on the way" in the constant search for the truth of the people and the world around her.
