Planning to play
Upcoming in 2013![]() Why? Looks like a very promising game with a complex story in an open-world'ish New York. Creative ideas and fantastic graphics till now. I can never get enough of open-world sandbox games anyway. And I already fell in love with the rain and wind animations and also all the detail in the gameplay trailer. Expectations: Let's hope it doesn't copy too much of GTA and goes its own way. More from my side shall come as soon as more trailers are released. ![]() Why? It looks interesting. People might say that this is a mixture of a lot of different games but I find the idea rather fresh and exciting. The design looks nice and convincing till now and the story seems to be thrilling and not too superficial. Can't wait to see more material on this one. Expectations: Right now I only formed my opinion on 2 trailers. I'm waiting for more input to voice any expectations. ![]() Why? It's friggin Deadpool voiced by friggin Nolan North. That more than enough for me. Since Deadpool didn't get a film yet, a game might work out quite well instead. Expectations: I expect some extreme blood-splatter-spree all over the place, with Mr. Wilson being incredibly immature and breaking the 4th wall as often as he can. And actually that's all a Deadpool game needs imo. Maybe they'll come up with a cool story and I'm sure they won't disappoint the fans of the comic, but it'll come down to button-mashing for sure. That's why think I won't buy the game but definitely rent it to experience Wade's almighty power of awesomeness. Upcoming in 2012![]() Why? I'm playing every AC game for the main consoles. I just feel the extremely strong urge to. I love the whole franchise so much. Especially for its story/story-telling. I decided to pre-order the "Take-all-this-pretty-merchandise-for-100€"-Freedom Edition even before I had seen any trailers. That's how much I love the AC series. Expectations: Judging by the trailers the graphics haven't changed too much which isn't that much of a problem for me since I consider the graphics beautiful already but maybe they should still take the effort to improve it at least a bit. Well, the thing that is most important for me is the story and the atmosphere so they better didn't fuck this up. I'm hoping for a well-told, well-paced and emotional story with rememberable characters. That's all I want, okay? I'm already 100% sure the gameplay and voice acting and music will convince me to the fullest. Kami-chan's rating:
![]() Why? I played every Game Boy-Pokemon game till now and I won't miss one because it's probably some sort of collector's compulsion inside of me. I'm glad that this one is still being relased for the normal DS since I don't possess any of the following versions. It's official that this'll be the last edition for the DS though and maybe, just maybe...when I know what the next Pokemon game will be like, I might buy one of the corresponding handheld console. Expectations I don't expect too much from this game because it's basically the same as Black and White 1. Same region, only a small set of new Pokemon, old characters grown up, other regions accesible and some few minor changes. But N returns and the story revolving around him continues. And as unspectacular as this game might seem, it's a Pokemon game! And it also had this kick-ass trailer (with all these precious seiyuu) which I'd much rather like to see being turned into an anime instead of the never-ending series about Ash and his companions being aired. Kami-chan's rating:
![]() Why? Just to satisfy my mild obssession with Sherlock Holmes. Expectations: I guess it'll be a game in a L.A. Noire'esque fashion. Just with a cooler setting. It's said to have an own, original plot, not based on Doyle's works. And I will just deal with what the game throws at me. The only thing I expect to do is exploring the universe that I'll get introduced to. Basically they just have to throw some Sherly and John at me. And a bit Mycroft and Jim and Sebastian and Irene... That'll keep me content. ;) Others I didn't get around to yet![]() Why I didn't play it yet: It's too expensive! By now it has been priced down from 60€ to 40€ which is actually quite lovely but that's still not very affordable just here and there. (60€ equals about 73$) Why I want to play it: I need to know how this series ends. I want to know if the ending really is as horrible as everyone says and really, I can't just ignore the third part of a trilogy. Kami-chan's rating:
![]() Why I didn't play it yet: No moneeeeeeey :'( Why I want to play it: It's seems to be one of these super freaky-deaky anime puzzle simulation games. Yep, those. Only because of the art and animation I want to play it. The ideas in this game are so fabulous and equally disturbing that I just can't miss it. I just dislike the fact that they didn't leave the Japanese audio track (agaiiiin *ahem*Persona games*ahem*) but I guess that is acceptable all things considered. ![]() Why I didn't play it yet: My Gold Membership has expired and I lack the money to buy a new one which is extremely infuriating because that way every arcade game and online matchmaking is prohibited from me and my yearning cries. Why I want to play it: I just looked at it and knew I needed to play it. And as I hear it is as original as it looks. ![]() Why I didn't play it yet: I couldn't find myself a good source to buy it yet. I don't want to pay a fortune only because it's already a bit older. And the Gamecube version that I want is even harder to find than all the other versions. Why I want to play it: It looks like a seriously underrated game and I want to be one of the people who could experience and appreciate it. ![]() Why I didn't play it yet: Another game that is pretty hard to find for a reasonable price or for someone who can only spend money on games once a year (and then it's a ridiculously overpriced amount of money for gigantic merchanise editions haha; yes I know that's kinda idiotic). Why I want to play it: It's another one of these absurd, freaky-deaky japanese anime "we-basically-create-a-completely-new-genre" games. Yep, those. I just can't resist absurdity and mindfuckery. And Akira Ishida, one of my favourite seiyuu, voices the end boss. ![]() Why I didn't play it yet: I just found out about it recently through the release of Darksiders II. I knew it existed but I didn't know that it's kind of an insider's tip and that I needed to play it urgently. Why I want to play it: Just to find out if I'm one of the people who like this game and so that maybe, if that comes true, I can play Darksiders II. |

I recommend the HD release of Beyond Good & Evil for the PSN or XBLA. There's going to be a HD re-release of Okami with PS3 Move support.

I strongly recommend you try LIMBO. It's a VERY good game, one of my favorites. Umm... I don't believe that you need a Gold account to buy & play it. You'd only need Gold to play online, and... there is no online portion of LIMBO. Just single-player, so a Silver account should be fine.
