These are the true classic characters who have been made immortal both on paper and on the big screen...several times as a matter of fact. I'll choose the versions of the characters that I have seen, or that I prefer...regardless of how much of a travesty it was to put it into film.

Sorry, but these are all limited to what I have both seen and read. Otherwise, I'm afraid the lists would be massive!
