I really didn't like The Ring two. Couple of gems here

Let me tell you I hated the Ring remake. So when the sequel came out I had no desire nor expectations that it would be worth seeing. I did eventually watch it, and to my surprise it wasn't what I expected. It was a somber little supernatural story that didn't delve off into the deep end of things. It kept itself simple and polite, considering the source material that it came from. Where as sequels try and out do themselves, this one didn't. It just continued the story of the main characters and the aftermath of the first movie. To me it was a nice way to put the series to rest. One that didn't deserve the American touch/remake that it was given. I love the original Japanese series, so I was quit pleasantly surprised when I found out Hideo Nakata directed this one as well.
