2. The Godfather (1972)

My Expectations was very high (#1 on top 250 [iMDB] when I saw it). It was a good movie indeed, but not the greatest, or one of the greatest, movie of all time.

3. The Godfather: Part II (1974)

Now, as i'd watched Part 1, my expectations was a bit lower than before, but this movie was actually boring. The first movie had infact something that drove me forward, but this hadn't. The director wasn't bad, but the film is too long and too uinteresting.

4. A Streetcar Named Desire (1951)

Many thinks this is a very good movie, but in fact, I think this movie didn't reached to me. It didn't appeal, entertain and the conversation (the dialog) was pretty boring.

5. Mystic River (2003)

Clint Eastwood is a good director! There's no doubt about that, just check out "Million Dollar Baby" and "Gran Torino". BUT this film is overrated. Many says it's the best movie I've seen, best actors, best script bla bla bla... I actually thought that the script was kind of boring and not SO good and the acting was ok.

Because I think their where for the most boring.
When everybody said this films is so great, I get high expentations. Very high and it's very difficult for a film to live up to those expentations!

I am not saying that everyone here should agree with me, but this is a list of what I think it's over rated!

Well, do you love every film that everybody else seems to love? That is my question... When it comes to good films, I think you can check out my favorite movies - list! And it's not finished, only half-doned!

I agree with Kris on this one. Just because a film gets a good rating somewhere, doesn't mean everyone has to like it. It's ridiculous sometimes the hype certain movies get. Good list man.

How is RoboCop 2 overrated? I haven't seen it, but it seems that nobody likes it. How can a movie that only few people like be overrated?

If you see the ratings here: 5.2 which that film don't deserve at all! Very close to 1/10, so...

I do love Blade Runner but can see how it would fit into over rated. The Godfather I have never understood the appeal... good but... meh...

2012 actually wasn't really overrated, it actually was underrated it had a lot more negetive comments then good ones, but i still though it was good.

Stardust was a WONDERFUL movie! I can understand most everything else, but Stardust is one of the most magical, beautiful, all ages movies I've ever seen.
