SMART NERD - Born in a family of teachers, Mick Jagger was bound to fallow in their footsteps. He was the best in his high school class, and won a scollarship in London School of Econimics, but decided to stick with the band. He showed that being nerd isn't enough, you have to be smart as well: Rolling Stones is the most sucessful band in the world, and managed by Mick Jagger himself.

O NERD ESPERTO - É filho de professores e seguiria pelo mesmo caminho. Ganhou bolsa na melhor faculdade de economia e quando chegou a hora, optou pela banda. Mostrou que não basta ser nerd, tem que ser esperto também: a Rolling Stones é a banda mais bem sucedida do mundo, e Jagger é o dono do negócio.

OS NERDS DEPRIMIDOS - Todos os integrantes da banda são de Oxford, a capital do estudo. Se afundavam em pilhas de livro e de tanto pensar, deprimiram. Transformaram suas tristezas em música.

PROUD NERD - He is an astrophysicist who has an asteroid named after him. He studied at Imperial College London and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in both Physics and Maths. More than 30 years after he started his research, he finished it in 2007 and has finally been awarded his PhD. Today, Dr. May is a specialist in interstellar dust.

O NERD ORGULHOSO - Tem um asteróide batizado em seu nome. É formado em física e matemática. Coleciona títulos de melhor aluno e melhores trabalhos. 30 anos depois de ter começado sua tese, em 2007 finalmente a concluiu e ganhou seu PHD. Hoje é doutor e especialista em poeira interestelar.

LOSER NERD - He spent all day reading, didn't have any friends and wasn't good in sports. In the 70's, when computers were just getting popular, he was already a technician, but nobody really cared. He was saved by the punk movement.

O NERD LOSER - Passava o dia inteiro lendo, não tinha amigos e não era bom nos esportes. Nos anos 70, quando a informática ainda era coisa de outro mundo, Costello era técnico de computação. Mas ninguém dava bola pra ele. Foi salvo pelo movimento punk.

DOESN'T LOOK NERD - He's that guy that parties, has fun and sits in the back of the class, but always gets the best grades. He has a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Master's degree in Molecular Biology, both from the University of Southern California. He was a Ph.D. candidate in Molecular Biology from the University of Southern California; however, he abandoned his Ph.D. in favor of focusing on the band.

O NERD SEM FRESCURA - É aquele cara que não estuda, senta no fundo da sala, faz a maior bagunça e na hora do "vamos ver", tira as melhores notas. Formou-se em biologia pela Universidade da California e fez mestrado em biologia molecular. Preferiu seguir a carreira de músico a conseguir seu PhD.

THE COOL NERD - With other nerd friends he formed the band Pavement, which lasted 10 years and 5 days, and conquerd few but faithful fans: the indie nerds.

O NERD COOL - Se juntou a outros nerds para formar o Pavement, que durou 10 anos e 5 dias, fazia shows em cidades universitárias, não rendeu grana nenhuma para sua gravadora, mas conquistou poucos e fiéis fãs: os nerds indies.

O NERD ENRUSTIDO - Possui um QI altíssimo de 172 (a partir de 140 já é considerado um gênio). Estudou inglês nos EUA e já foi professor. Para fazer letras tão estúpidas, é preciso pensar de verdade. Sua música MIM QUER TOCAR já foi tema de vestibular da Unicamp.

He graduated with a BA degree (with honors) in Political Science, and also wrote a piece headlined "South Africa: Racist Fascism That We Support". Morello has described himself as having been "the only anarchist in a conservative high school", but has since identified as a nonsectarian socialist.

O NERD CONTESTADOR - Sua mãe era professora, e seu pai embaixador do Quênia nos Estados Unidos. Era politizado. Adorava escrever e formou-se em ciências políticas na Harvard.
