The most beautiful game on the network, Flower is a relaxing and innovative game for the Ps3. The game uses the six-axis controller to control the wind and collect flower petals. I really don't know how to describe how fun and relaxing this game is. Watching videos on youtube doesn't quite translate the serene feeling you get from playing. Really just take mine and all your friend's words for it, because I know they like it to, and just buy it because it's great.

I was leary about this one for sure. My friend actually gave me money and made me buy it hence it was a gift. It doesn't disappoint. This game is basically a humorous spin on CTF or "capture the flag" to the non-gamer. Instead of flags, you have captured princesses and you can feed her cake to make her fatter. The fatter the princess, the slower the enemy can carry her away. Sure they can have several people carry and the more there are the faster they get away, but you can choose different classes of characters to kill them: Warrior, Mage, Archer, Worker, Priest. Not to mention the extra DLC which is worth the $5 to add Ninjas, Giants, and Pirates. Funny fun and endless online gameplay.

Perhaps this game shouldn't be on this list because it's a remake of an arcade cabinet. I'm still putting it here because it's not a Ps1 port or a console port. They remade the graphics and added the 8-directional control to the classic TMNT: Turtles in Time arcade game. There are complaints about the changes but all in all, if you like Ninja Turtles, there really is no arguing about whether you should get this one or not.

Also a port but this time no console version exists. Many of us remember this arcade game because of it's unique 6-player (yes, SIX) cabinet. I was rather worried when they said this one would be on XBLA as well because the 360 can only handle 4 controllers. I swore if they didn't make the PSN version 6 player, because the Ps3 can actually handle 7 controllers, that I wouldn't buy it. Fortunatly they did right by the Ps3 and the game includes both a 4 player and 6 player version, though why you would bother with 4 I don't really know. This game is an exact copy, no updated graphics or controls, as the cabinet.

Another port technically, this time from an arcade game that is also a console game, oh well. I didn't put MVC3 on my top Ps3 games worth buying for a reason: it sucked. MVC2 is and always be where it's at. This game is the near-perfect incarnation of a fighting game. With a huge roster, unique move-sets, hyper combos you don't need anymore. I prefer this series over most fighting games because I like having 3 character teams so if your opponent picks the perfect character to beat yours (fast vs slow or something like that) you can switch out and still have a chance of winning, epic.

Not much to be said about this one, it's Catan on the PSN. It's one player offline but 4 player online, makes sense with most card games. Good controls and trade abilities. Trophies are impossibly hard, I can't get the one that requires you to win with 12 victory points (yes it's possible, think about it and maybe you'll figure out how it's done, for how impossible and improbable it is). Regardless it's great and cheap, only thing I wish they would update is let me listen to my own music on my hard-drive instead of that infernal little tune.

This is one of the earlier PSN games I was happy I got. Super Stardust is like the old asteroids game but on crack. Beautiful to look out, cool soundtrack, insane arcade gameplay. Some of the dlc addon stuff is pretty cool too. You can also choose to listen to your own music from the XMB which is a needed feature in all PSN and Ps3 games. Really this game has endless gameplay value as with endless mode where it just gets more and more chaotic.

This game is so incredible I can't believe they are only charging $10 for it! If you've played either InFamous game or are even remotely interested in the series this is a must buy. Cole has new vampire powers and has to take down Bloody Mary before the sun rises or he'll be a vampire forever.
