i'm surprise that you didn't include on your list the master of suspence Alfred Hitchcock who had some influence for all those directors and without him some of those directors would not had the success that they did have and for me Alfred Hitchcock is the best movie director of all time and nobody will ever came close to the amount of masterpiece's that he did between 1926 and 1976.

great move man to put alfred hitchcock in your list because he brought much more things in the movie industry then George Lucas and 90% of alfred hitchcock movie's are rated between 1 (masterpiece) and 3 (very good) that says it all. : )
