'The Last Resort' A Russian woman who makes a move over to England on the promises of her 'lover', dragging in tow her young son. She ends up in some Northen seaside town
Its a good gritty film with an interesting take and view on immigration.
Paddy Considine looks good too.

'La Haine' is a French fil set in Paris that features disaffected immigrant youths. A great film & one I highly recommend. :-)

You forgot one of my fave immigration stories: Moscow on the Hudson. My parents immigrated with us by fleeing communist regime, so the film is very relevant to us.
